JBL Partybox 300 wireless Bluetooth speaker £269.10 at Curry's with code PARAW09 online or in store.

Bought this speaker in store yesterday with the code.
It's one of the largest and loudest battery operated Bluetooth speakers available, amazing sound compared to Sony's offerings.

Here's the blurb:

Top features:

- Get the party started with JBL Signature Sound

- Play music wirelessly from your smartphone

- Create that party vibe with lighting effects

Get the party started

Kickstart your night with the JBL Partybox 300 Bluetooth Megasound Party Speaker. From EDM to hip hop, you get loud, powerful sound and punchy bass without missing any of the details – all thanks to JBL Signature Sound.

And since it's portable, with a rechargeable battery that lasts up to 18 hours, you can take the party outside, to the park, or to your mate's place.

Play music wirelessly

Everyone can have a go at being the DJ thanks to the Bluetooth connection. Sync up a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to the Partybox 300 and play tunes straight from your favourite streaming services. Or just preload a playlist onto a USB stick and hook that up to the Partybox 300.

If you find your phone running out of juice towards the end of the night, you can use the USB port to recharge.

You can also plug in a mic or a guitar for a lively jam session or impromptu band practice.

Create that party vibe

With three different light modes – Metre, Pulse, and Party – you can really set the vibe with the Partybox 300. For extra sound power, you can connect another JBL Partybox speaker wired or wirelessly.

I tested the JBL against three Sony speakers in store, wired and wireless. All the Sony's had higher watts RMS (200w, 300w and 450w vs the jbl120w) and I can tell you the JBL sounded a lot clearer, warmer and richer. It was no contest with the JBL the clear winner. The Sony's all sounded like a mess to my ears.

I think the RMS rating on a speaker is not as important as the frequency range, the JBL has a range of 45hz-20khz. Not sure what the Sony's are as they haven't published them but I bet it's not as low and broad as the JBL.
Don't buy this if you're from an ethnic minority and you don't like flying

At certain volumes the speaker creates a low gravity field, so you can just hover right over it

I did play that video link and I did indeed pump up the jam

Also keeping it old school, LFO LFO (Leads warehouse mix) is the perfect test for a new speaker 👇

Can you pair these to give you a "stereo" set up?

Yes you can pair two partybox's together to create stereo and each speaker has a button to select left or right. Bet it would sound awesome with two of them!

You can't pair the Partybox with any of the other JBL lineup though unfortunately.
Price now gone up to £399.99! Has a new 10% code but it's nowhere near the original deal price.
