Been after this speaker for a little while. Best price I've found so have bitten.
I have the pulse 2 and the sound is so good for such a little speaker. I spent a long time in Currys trying to choose and it was by far my favourite!

I think the JBLs are good value for money. My budget was £200 so went for this one - sound quality, volume and battery life is way good enough for my needs and I get the light show (which you can switch off) almost as an added bonus.
I have the Charge 2 plus and it's a fantastic device. Heat
I have the Charge 2+ that I think I paid £75 for last year. It's good but having tried some cheaper Bluetooth speakers I'm not sure it was worth that. I did have some trouble with something shaking loose inside, I contacted JBL and they sent me a new, it was completely hassle free. The broken one I returned to Amazon and they send me a new one too... I sold it to a friend... So to sum up I can't fault the customer service but I don't think all the money goes towards quality sound.

I checked out a few youtube reviews on this one as the sound quality (and the volume too) was a key consideration for me. I've listened to three of the portable Bose Bluetooth speakers and this does compare favourably to those IMO.

Why is this £100 more expensive than the JBL charge 3?

If it was by far your favourite, why did it take you so long to choose? sorry it's that time of night...

There were a lot of choices in Currys! I had to try them all!
