Great deal, reserved one.

Make sure you purchase before the price goes back up. I did this the other week. I reserved when it was 139 but when I went in two days later to pay and collect it was 199.

Amazing speaker though even for two hundred nicker.

You should of asked them to honour the reserve price, they don't have to but most stores will
Does the waterproofing of this speaker make it lose some of its potential sound quality. Don't see how you can waterproof it without stopping some of the sound escaping.

other than having a non-waterproof version to compare it to, kind of impossible to tell
Don’t think, just buy an absolute steal, got it from Argos last week when £139 without voucher which is within spitting distance of the same deal. What HiFi gave it 5 stars for my money the best Bluetooth speaker less than £400. In answer to questions waterproofing doesn’t make any difference to sound certainly compared to non waterproof speakers eg B&O Beloit 15
Got this on the last deal Argos had. I can honestly say it's an absolute bargain at this price. Sound quality is excellent. It is a little on the large size but not too bad
Anyone know if these sound good when playing rock/metal music?

Every review I find just focuses on urban/pop music.

I have one to pick up and just want to make sure. Cheers.
Thanks for posting @xxxAD1xxx we have added this to today's Highlights
Currys price match Argos if anyone does have a local or prefer to use them for whatever reason
Gutted to miss this. Anyone know roughly when I should check online again to pick up ones that were reserved but not picked up?

can you provide a link please as they are for £144 if I'm correct (juts checked John Lewis) - I'm after a megaboom 3 and apart couple of refurbs on eBay you are looking at around 140£ mark.

Lol so typically argos put the price up by £10 and then give you a £10 voucher back...

don't know why people always vote the argos promotions scorching hot, its a joke.

OK, but it's a boom 3, not megaboom 3, I believe you got them mixed up, had a boom 3 and was OK but my mate has got a megaboom and it's worth the upgrade imo.
Apologies Adis, I did get them mixed up which is surprising as I've just bought the Megaboom 3 and I'm very happy with it. I got mine here eglobalcentraluk.com/ and used honey to get some added vouchers and a few quid off. £113.99 for the black one

Wait a sec, it says battery is included, but the 15 hours aren't :/
I got the JBL charge 3 for 89.99 in PC world/Currys a few months ago in the sales. Awesome sound.

I think he means it’s a barrel charger not micro or USB-C so you can’t use a generic charger or power bank. Then again it’s got so much power it would drain any power bank quickly.

You can get a big power bank (eg car jump starter) that will charge it using the laptop DC port.
Shame this is out of stock
If you live in Central Scotland there's some available at their Motherwell store.
Picked up one of these although very hard to get hold of... Drove 40 miles to Knapshill to be told they couldn't find it.. Also asked local Currys to price match but not interested as they genuinely thought it was a pricing error. Currys are selling the previous version for the same price and this one for a whopping £279.. Absolute bargain if you can find one... A tip is to try speaking to the team on the online chat om the Argos website who are very very helpful in finding stock nationwide.
I've reserved one, but no offer of a £10 voucher!
Looks like they are starting to re-stock this jbl speaker, just re-order for

pick up July 21st at the same price.
An absolute steal!
