Decent quality mitre saw with 5 Years warranty for the more demanding DIY-ers.Price reduced by 33% (genuinely )

Be aware this saw is very heavy (over 21kg) but it's well made thus shouldn't be even compared to the more popular, cheaper 210mm £99 JCB model in plastic.

Instore / book for collection only offer ( sometimes unreliable !) .

Quidco.

1600w motor
Blade size 255mm x 30mm (standard size bore)
Remote work piece supports
Carry handle for easy transporting
Maximum cutting capacity 80x300mm
Laser for precise cutting
Ergonomic handle for left and right hand use

Nice!

I would urge anyone looking for a chop off saw to look for one with a metal guard as the plastic ones seen on this model are the first thing to break. The evolution ones are often £100.

+1 Yeah true

it looks a new generation of cheap chinese rebranded chop saws. you might find it , in the future, as Draper, Rexon, Silverline, Mac allister (bandQ) etc

I have this exact same saw only in blue with mac alister write on it, this is a typical marketing stunt from b&q they request Permision from jcb to use there name and then just reproduce there own product in jcb colours and logos and then make people think there getting some awesome piece of equipment when realy it's only a b&q saw in jcb yellow

Nope, don't expect anything awesome, that's just a sliding mitre saw for DIY that costs £129 and comes with 5 years warranty :-) .that's correct it's not a Bosch DCM 12 or Makita DXT but it also doesn't cost £600

Unfortunately, most mitre saws have nowadays the plastic guards installed , this includes most products of makita, bosch, hitachi, ryobi or metabo.it doesn't make the Evolution a better saw :-)
