Poor batteries which in my experience don't last and are prone to leakage. Buy a charger and rechargeable batteries from IKEA, they last longer, you'll save a bob or two and its better for the environment too

I've got a fast charger and probably 100 rechargeable. I've got 2 small kids too. For some reasons, every time I need a battery, I have none. Got tired to take some from one toy, charge it and to hear them screaming as they have no patience until they can use the toy.

These are good for Christmas if you have kids and get presents from others, you have the batteries handy to use.

I agree rechargeable are better, especially when you get cheap ones from Lidl, Ikea or Screwfix, however it depends on the circumstances. My experience with this is fine, had some with my house alarm since 18 months ago and the alarm is triggered daily, also some with my Tado thermostat, 14 months used and none of them needed replacing.

And yes, I know the fast charger kills the batteries, but I need batteries now, not in 5 hours. In my case, using these is not about saving, it is about convenience.

What @frakison said.
(for the exact same reasons)
Terrible batteries, I've bought these JCB branded one's before from Home Bargains and some have lasted no more than a minute or two before dying. The odd one hasn't even had enough juice to power the device it went in.

And this is why I'll never have kids. Just not worth it.

I've got two kids and it's all hype, definitely not worth it. Just waiting for a good sell price so I can shift them

You're too optimistic expecting a good sell price, if you want to get rid of them, you need to pay others
