Is it possible to change mountain bike tyres to road bike tyres?

I always meant to ask, but seems like a dumb question, but will pretty much any mtb brake work on a roadish bike (for example a kaffenback frame)?

Good price! I had tektro auriga's on an old bike which are very similar. Despite being low end they did the job reasonably well and trouble free! Which is more than can be said for any of the avid range.

Yes just get a tyre with a road thread on it

Just spent over £16.00 on new pads and a bleed kit for my Juicy brakes and I’ve found the front master cylinder is leaking. I’d have been better off replacing the whole system at this price!

Got these on my bike and they're perfectly acceptable for my needs, pi55ing about in tow paths, trails, canals etc....

Bike is apparently sold separately.

Are these easy to install, I can't find any info on whether they come as a sealed system, or whether you fill them after installation?
I'm wondering how easy it is to route the hydraulics, in place of existing cables etc?

Grateful for any advice, these could be an inexpensive upgrade to the standard cable disks I have on my Marin.

P*ss easy, all you need to do really is measure your cables to make sure these are about the same, make sure they are the same mounting type (post mount or IS) then its just a straight swap.

Thanks for this. Not used my bike all summer and need a new front. Doesn't say if comes with pads but does say "complete brake" so once I get I'll update this thread (if I remember - but if I don't remember & you want to know, reply and I'll see this notice in the top right).

Got mine today and it comes with pads.

If you have a basic bike with discs that needs new pads, rotor clean and a bleeding then get these. No brainer compared to messing with above.
