Ace boxset if you are a Buckley fan; quite tricky to get hold of this so nice to see at a decent price. Should it sell out here you can get it at DVDSource for a respectable £12 or Play for £23 or HMV for £26 or Amazon for £27.

The excavation of late singer/songwriter Jeff Buckley's recorded output continues with Columbia's release of the five-disc box set 'The Grace EPs'. Comprising EPs created in conjunction with Buckley's 1994 debut 'Grace' - two of which were never released commercially in the UK - 'The Grace EPs' features two previously unreleased tracks, alternative versions from the album, plus many non-album tracks, live versions and remixes. Jeff's mother, Mary Guibert, provides liner notes with contributions from Buckley's band members Mick Grondahl, Michael Tighe, and Matt Johnson.

Probably ok, but looking at the tracklisting is it really necessary to spread it over 5 cds? ... Thinkl im happy enough with the Grace album on its own.

how many versions of the same album to buckley fans need?

For me, one. The original. It's stunning but everything else of his is pale by comparison.

Tim Buckley was a far greater talent, in my opinion. Died at 28 with 9 studio albums behind him, with so much variety. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to slate Jeff (Grace is one of my all time favourites), but Tim is under-rated, while Jeff is over-rated. If only he'd not died.

The original Grace album is a masterpiece.... I also like the addition of "Forget Her" on newer releases of Grace - but as others have stated, his other work isn't a patch on Grace.

We'll never know if he would have managed to better it, but I wasn't that impressed with "Sketches....."

Is right about Tim Buckley, Dream Letter - Live in London 1968 is his best album in my opinion. I do think that Grace is a more consistent and better album than most of Tim's but the range and space of those 9 albums in such a short period of time is incredible.

And Dream Letter isn't one of the 9! Throw in the post-humous releases and, wow, what a back catalogue.

My favourite song is the unreleased demo he did with Liz Fraser "All Flowers In Time", simply stunning.
