Good price for an 800X600 frame. Ordered for pick up. (Postage is £3.99 which you may want to add to description).

Bargain price

Do these give a good quality picture? I bought one of those 20 quid ones from Asda and the quality is woeful. I'm guessing you get what you pay for.

I've had the older version of this and the picture quality is pretty good. If this has the same quality, then its a good price.

Much much better. Cheap ones are normally 480 x 234 this is 800 x 600 which gives a good clear picture

I have had one of these for a year and it has very good picture quality.

Any idea if this can display the time as well as a picture? So like, having a clock that also has a custom background?

I wish they'd provide more information for digital photo frames. I would appreciate it if someone who has this could answer the following.

Will this turn off/on at specified times?
What intervals are available in slide show? Some max. intervals are too short for me.
Does it start at a random photo or always start at the same one?
Is slide show order random?

Thanks.

theyve been this (and lower) price on and off since december 2010.
not really a bargain

Not sure this 8" has been lower, I paid 29 at Xmas and was impressed with the resolution.

Nope - was £29.99 on the run up to Christmas - and good value even at that price. Claimed RRP was £59.99 I think. Excellent picture.

Also available in House of Fraser, if thr are none in Jessops near to you

On the basis of this thread, went into my local Jessops in Bromley where they had tons on display (for £19.99) looking to buy one. Looking at the display models, this one looked very flimsy in comparison. It is mostly plastic and where the staff clean the display, you can obviously see light scratch marks on the panel. When set to it's brightest it was by far the dimmest of the frames on display. The plastic window felt like one of those kids toy box covers: uneven and moves inwards on holding it in your hands.
Although this is a good price, it also looks very cheap and would definitely not say it's worth more. On seeing and touching it I decided against buying it but I'm quite fussy about detail and I'm sure others will disagree with me.

Voted hot based on price.

Either you are VERY fussy or it's a different one!

Can anyone confirm if this is Dual Voltage (110-220v)?? Thinking off buying it as a gift but needs to be 110v. Not much information on site.

Yes it does. Clock either on it's own or together with photos.

Yes, this will turn on / off at set times and days of the week.

Intervals seem to be about 2 seconds, 4 seconds and 6 seconds.

Will start where it was left off last time.

It does NOT randomise the playback of photos - it plays them in order. This is a big disadvantage but I found a tool that will randomly rename files so I just used that.

Also note, it does not have an internal memory you can use - and doesn't come with a memory card so you will need one (SD or SDHC) before using it.

Display does seem pretty good, unit itself seems slightly cheap but for £20 its a steal.
