Excellent deal. Just ordered one. Thank you.

Got my mum one of these for Xmas. It's excellent - the 2gb is enough for hundreds of photos ( so I preloaded it with loads of family pictures) and the screen is big enough to see across the room. It's got a clever feature where if it displays a photo with a few faces in, it actually zooms in to the faces and scrolls between them. Hot.

I got the 8" version - Great frame, excellent quality can do such things as above yet can't radomly suhffle pictures so everytime you start it up, it plays the same photos.

Hi everyone, im new here so take it easy. Does anyone know if u are able to mount this frame to the wall ?? and what do u mean ms2005 that you cant randomly shuffle the pictures?? do u mean that it doesn't have the slide show feature?

anyone know what the 'high resolution' is?

yes - it's got mounting holes in the back

800 x 600 I believe

Superb deal, thanks..................ordered

i bought the other one that was mentioned on here a couple of weeks back, it says on the net that it takes xd cards, the instructions in the box say it does too but when i put the xd card in its not recognising it, pushed it in further and it got stuck, had a big stress on removing it incase it ruined the card.

this is the one i got - jessops.com/onl…tml

has anyone got this one and can confirm one way or another for me? as at the mo its just sat in the box.

Sits there 24 hours a day peeing away energy whether anyone's looking at it or not. Why don't they make one with an infrared sensor?

Is it difficult to pull the power on it?

About as difficult as placing a picture face down whenever you leave the room. And about as convenient.

Excellent - someone listened!

Excellent Deal. Saw this a few days ago and have been very tempted. The only thing holding me back is the fact that it just another item that wastes electricity. Will have to think about this one..... Seems very good...!!

I have been watching this 10.4 frame for weeks now
Thanks for this 15% code
I ordered mine :-)
Will they honour Quidco? If yes the deal amount will come down to £39 which is amazing
Heat added

See the post just above yours avecmon... yes, the Technika one will remain on standby, but the power consumption will be a great deal less than a frame displaying to an empty room most of the time. Besides which, an 8" frame will very likely consume less power when on than a 10" one.

Can't seem to find the resolution of the Technica one - grr.

Hi, had this frame for xmas, can confirm it runs fine with xd card. Did you have the card inserted the right way round (could be the cause of the jam)and selected as source in the menu? Took me a bit of playing round to get it running.

Ordered many thanks

is this a good clear picture people? It'd be my first foray into the world of digital photo frames, 800 seems a low resolution!?

I refer the honourable lady/gentleman to my previous answer.

Just check it over when it comes before they run out of stock as I had one for xmas with a dead pixal.

Bought one of these for my folks for Christmas at £56. Bit gutted there's an extra £15 off now!

Anyway, it has a good sharp picture clearly visible from across the room. Didn't get a look at the other features so can't really comment.

Might get one myself...

They aren't a waste of electricity if they perform a useful function, which is to display all the pictures that everyone has stored on their PC but hardly ever look at! For people worried about power consumption, just plug it into a timer switch and program it to come on at certain times when you will be around to look at it

I got my mum a wireless one last year and it's a great way to keep in touch, I can just send photos directly from my PC or even my iPhone, so she gets to see what we've been up to!

Bought 2 of these for Xmas. I loaded music and avi files as well as pics and was gobsmacked at how easy it did it and the quality compared to the older styles. The pic quality is fine as well. I think this is a steal at £41.

without randomisation and a sensor, this is a pretty primitive photo frame, even for the cost.

Shame it has no randomiser as I think this is an important feature.

I have 1000's of pictures so would be a shame to only be able to see pictures in sequence unless there is a random file rename software that you can use.

I have a unused one of these purchased a couple of weeks back at the £56, the lack of a shuffle/random play function on the slideshow has dented my desire to upload 2 gigs worth of photos to it. I cant fault the image quality though its brilliant compared to most other frames Ive seen and the 10.4 inch size means its ideal for viewing withought having to get up close to it.

If anyone wants my unused one they can have it for £30 and come pick it up from Reading or pay the postage (which probably wont be very cheap as its a reaosnable size and weight)

Totally agree - I have one without it and it always starts at the same point and progresses at 10 secs or so/picture. So the point someone made about turning it off when you are not in the room doesn't work for me.

I think this is a great photo frame, but with one simple, essential feature lacking - randomisation. It's like, upload 2GB worth of photos, but only ever see the first 50 or so! Who's going to sit there for hours waiting to see the rest?

Any frames out there that are similar size and have a randomizer ?
