They're only really grainy if you look at them from less than 3 foot away - bargain for the money

I would like to get one of these cheap photo frames as a stocking filler.

Does anyone have any suggestions? This is similar to this one at Tesco hotukdeals.com/ite…esc

Which one is better? are there any other ones for similar price? Thanks :santa:

they are all about the same to be honest, just different frames

thanks going to go for this one

just picked up my 7" technika from tesco , happy enough with it , nice black frame and not too wide , got 2gb sd card which i needed half price so frame and card came to £22 , not bad .....

Cheaper if you use FRAMES15 code
Reduces to £17.85
8% Quidco on top right now too.

Just ordered for pick-up

£17.85 with ' frames15 ' code

Widescreen format is silly, nobody takes 16:9 photos, people take them at 4:3 ratio.

Don't waste your money on such a low resolution and crazy aspect ratio. Much better to spend the extra on an 800x600 version with the proper 4:3 ratio.

Yes, but it is interpolated - the video signal most likely has an even lower resolution, somewhere around 320x240. The picture quality is *painful* to watch.

Exactly. Better one good picture frame than two crap ones :-).

Thanks op! Fantastic price!
As already said, unless your going to have the frame extremely close up then there isn't THAT much difference between 800x600 and 480x234. Of course if you have the money its wise to spend the extra and get a higher res one as they are beautiful. Don't spend loads though as there's hardly any difference between a £30 and a £300 frame, for proof just look in somewhere like currys or comet where you can compare them side by side. My £30 800x600 ebuyer frame looks just as good as a sony which costs 3-4 times the amount, your just paying for the name.

remote = gimmicky, will never get used and will get lost within a couple of days so I wouldn't personally choose one that comes with a remote over one that doesn't.

Thanks bright star and ggeree for the code! Ordering this one for my aunt, she doesn't have amazing eyesight so no point going higher res!

H&R to all!

Nice find OP. Cheap gift for someone :-)

There is a world of a difference between 800x600 and 480x234 (which is really just 320x234). You would have to be nearly blind not to notice it in a side by side comparison. This one is only good for looking at from across the room - you do *not* want to get too close :-(.

For what it is, its a great price. Bought three for all the various grandparents, add some SD cards for a fiver each from Morrisons. Sorted.

Thanks. Don't forget the possible cash back from TopCashback (8%) or Quidco (6%)

good deal particularly with the 2gb card bundle but no good for northen ireland,£15 delivery!:x

Personally, I would bother with such low resolution rubbish, other than as a cheap gimmick for children.

In that case, here is an even cheaper model that plays MP3s: ]Daewoo 7" Digital Photo Frame With MP3 And USB Port £17.99 Free Delivery

Hi... Can anyone advise?

I have ordered this one from Play:

]http//ww…tml

Was £50 now: £29.99
The reviews are pretty good although the display resolution is: 800 x 480 pixels

Will this Jessops one be much better ? If there isn't going to be a world of difference i will bother myself with the return/credit etc... only if this is a much better purchase??

Appreciate...

oopps... sorry, meant to post this against the earlier Jessops Digital LCD 8" 2GB Digital Photo Frame post...

Sounds like resolution snobbery to me, btw the Daewoo is more expensive by 10p :whistling:. Oh and it's not rubbish at all, received three today. Lovely picture, nice scaling and simple to use. Brilliant for £17.85 (-£1.25 topcashback each), Grandma loves it.

Recieved mine today, For £18.50 you can't complain, it serves it's purpose and does it well, The pictures are bright and the colours are vibrant, its pixelly if you get within a foot of it but sitting in the living room and seeing it from a few feet, you couldn't tell the difference!
