Good price, bought 2 of these in the past when on offer, but this is the lowest price I have seen for this.

If the code still doesnt work after trying the above in the OP try this:

Add the photo frame & use the code - if it still shows no discount

]Then add this item to basket

That should get u the 25% Off and you should then be able to remove the album

Are these actually any good... Do you still use them? Worried that I won't end up using it after a while...

3% Quidco also available.

Don't use them myself, but good presents for grandparents etc. The picture quality on this one is good though. You need this level of resolution or they look ****.

I've got a 46" Sony LCD TV that has a built in USB photo viewer, so don't need an 8" one!

I bought one of these last time on offer and can confirm they are good. Just watch out for the humming noise that some people found when you turn the light intensity down. Worth checking straight away to make sue you get a good one

The frame itself is very good, pics look great. Be sure to watch out for the annoying buzz from the brightness control though lol I had to exchange one for this reason, but the new one is fine.

edit: SNAP! lol

I am not very knowledgeable about how these work :

If I mains charge it until it has enough power, can I view it for a few hours without all the wires dangling around it?

In other words, does it always need to be powered on to the mains? Or, is it power up once and use it anywhere until it runs out of power.

It's powered by mains only

Just ordered one of these for my wife, price seems good voucher worked a treat!

Lets see whats its like when it arrives.

Heat Added

The 'magic window' feature is cool. You have four 1/4 size pics in frame at one time, each pic works independantly as it's own slide show. It looks nice.

]This 15" bad boy works out at £112.49 which is very tempting too

Are these things always mains powered?

I got one a few weeks ago for £59 as a present for my parents. pic quality good but had the BUZZING noise so had to exchange, the new one seems fine

A few posts up:

do you have to do anything with the images before using them in the picture frame, for instance resize them or anything? Can you put the SD card in straight from the camera? Also if you have a portrait, does it show up on the whole screen or do you get like a border around the edge?

Which is better, this or the Nextbase one in another post?

Just purchased one, looks an excellent buy, also used Quidco!! Cheers Andy

Thanks for this deal OP. Just ordered:)
I've had one of these for over a year, without any probs, this one is for my M&D. A great price from what I paid a year ago.
I find in these days of digital pics - this is the best way to look at your photos - print them out and they sit in a drawer, or just sit on your hard drive otherwise.
In answer to the poster who asked about resizing...not required, you just drag and drop onto the memory card - this frame does the up / down scaling for you. Obviously it is in your own interests to not put huge pictures (5mb or so!) onto your memory card as this'll just decrease the amount of pics you'll be able to squeeze onto the card.
About 1Mb sized pics look fine, so this gives you up to about 1000 on a 1GB SD card - plenty for most people?

Ordered one for £52.49, discount came straight off.

Thanks

Yes, you're right... looks very nice, didn't notice this.
Bought the 8" one now so too late :?

these buzz. apart from that xcelent pic quality

Bought one of these over a year ago from Jessops when they were ~£60. They have a fantastic screen, much better than ****** low res 16:9 screens, and the correct aspect ratio.

I hope that TV is 1080P for the full benefit of your pictures.

Totally agree, I have no problem leaving my TV switched on, they don't use much more power than the digital photo frame. Plus I don't need Sky anymore, or TV Guides.

"What's on TV tonight darling?"

"Our wedding pictures sweetie"
:whistling: :-D

Anyone else having problems with the Jessops site atm?

You would think places like Jessops would sort site tech issues out quickly :x

It's ok they sorted it at last!

Hi Guys..

Does this frame play videos?

Thanks

Whats the voltage going into the dpf, is it 5v.
Also are there any buttons on the front and does it come with a remote?

Thanks

Is this 4:3 ration, presuming it is cos of 800x600 res. If so then not so good for 6x4 ratio pics from SLRs 35mm type cameras although I can live with some black bars top and bottom.

I'd go for this as it works out about £10 cheaper with QuidCo and I don't think the other one plays movies.

Have u read other posts? faulty ones buzz and jessops will replace for one that doesnt buzz

Does anyone happen to know what the difference between this frame and this one is:

jessops.com/onl…tml

It's £10 more but the specs and feature list are exactly the same. The Jessops site is quite frustrating bad when it comes to providing specs.

Yes, I get a thin black bar at top and bottom with my SLR pics. You could always just crop them, but it doesn't really bother me to tell the truth.

The adapter is actually 9v! Buttons are on the rear of the unit facing upwards.
