As the title would suggest a compilation of all 21 singles from this influential Scottish band in chronological order. From the screaming feedback of the classic debut 'Upside Down' on to their only top 10 hit 'April Skies' for Blanco Y Negro and finally their last single 'I Love Rock 'n' Roll' for Creation Records, the label they started out on. And 18 others released between 1984 and 1998.

1. Upside Down
2. Never Understand
3. You Trip Me Up
4. Just Like Honey
5. Some Candy Talking
6. April Skies
7. Happy When It Rains
8. Darklands
9. Sidewalking
10. Blues From A Gun
11. Head On
12. Rollercoaster
13. Reverence
14. Far Gone And Out
15. Almost Gold
16. Snakedriver
17. Sometimes Always
18. Come On
19. I Hate Rock 'N' Roll
20. Cracking Up
21. I Love Rock 'N' Roll

Does it cost extra to have spaces between the track-listing names?

Ooops fixed

Can't recommend this highly enough.

One of the most influential alternative bands around... awesome

Have a feeling I'm gonna be back to front with most, but wow, loved darklands but hated the other albums i tried.. seem to remember lots of angry guitars

Try Stoned And Dethroned, an equally calm J&MC album.

Thanks for that paaaaaul, I'm just having a quick listen now, loving it so far!

Stoned and Dethroned is really great... can't fault Automatic either... the soundtrack to a very good summer 2 decades ago!

I wonder if this contains the remastered versions ?

Edit: perhaps not, I see this was released in 2002

Are they still around?

I was thinking about this the other week while listening to "Sidewalking" in the car

I saw them at the roundhouse a year or 2 ago, they reformed and played a load of gigs and were supposed to be recording a new album, which they had a couple of new tracks in the set for, but looks like it maybe came to nothing

ic
