cold just for claiming to be a gaming mouse @ £2.99. cheap anything is a false economy, and a cheap gaming mouse will ruin the way a developer wanted you to experience the control of a game.

Looks good DPI is ok, better than the £1.£2 mouse you see about

Heat added cheers

cheap and deal are two completely different things. You can get something cheap which is also of poorer quality, and cannot be in any way or shape be compared to an acceptable or more expensive premium product. You can get a deal where something which is of an acceptable or premium quality is cheaper than it has or normally is. I would consider this, a deal. A self confessed cheap and potentially poor quality mouse claiming to sport a gaming grade laser sensor, calling itself a gaming mouse, is in my own personal opinion not a deal. A mouse recognised as gaming grade by gamers which is cheaper than most other retailers i would in my own personal opinion be considered a deal.

Really...people moaning about good deals they need to stay away from this site - I think we all know that this is a good deal for a cheap mouse- I dont think anyone is under the illusion that it is going to help them be the best at a game and will not compare to the best mice out there, this is a great DEAL for a mouse and it is worth being on this site.

its a cheap mouse, nothing more. There are plenty of cheap mice on the market, and they are cheap, not deals.

Nice 1 cheers :-)

Well, there are good deals on quality items and deals on pieces of crap that were cheap and nasty already.

I like cheap things. He he he. Voted hot

Like the writing on the top of the mouse. :D.

For 25 /30p more or thereabouts you can pick these up on Ebay without any "branding."

Surely you'd be better off finding a 'normal' mouse for £2.99 without all the jazzy patterns and lights on it.

It doesn't take a genius to realise that those 'extras' cost money, which means that the money spent on making it a good mouse will be less.

What a lot of whinging. Have any of those who are moaning about this mouse actually used it?

These are cheap useless POS that will literally fall apart. I bought one a while back while I was waiting for my Naga to be returned from repair. The laser isn't certified, the USB end was green and looked like it had been chewed by a dog, you'd be better off buying a Tesco value mouse.

I have a mouse just like this, perfect for everyday use, never had an issue with it, just because its cheap doesn't make it junk.

You're talking rubbish, i have this mouse although it was slightly cheaper at £2.90 when i got it, it is a very good mouse and gaming, browsing, media all work perfectly fine with it.

Have some heat op.

I don't need any fancy "gaming" mouse...i use this one and my K/D ratio on BF4 is 0.113 so i can't be that bad?!

So what if it's just an office mouse with a few extra buttons tacked on? (for cheaper!) The amount of decent mice I've had that have died on me is just silly, always need a spare!

"We make IT happens" LOL

Looks pretty decent for £2.99, I just can't live without a Razer Naga anymore

Mouse looks like it's actually only worth £2.99.

warlockuk

Mouse looks like it's actually only worth £2.99.

which is my point. if it only looks like a £2.99 mouse, and it is a £2.99 mouse, its not a deal. If it was a razer mouse, and it was £2.99, im sure nobody would argue, thats a deal!
Edited by: "bouncy99" 25th Mar 2014

Aye, I'm not gonna vote either way but if you're spending £3 on a mouse that's this crap you've no business using a pc

Gaming Mice use laser optical (HD) sensors...

Regular Mice use LED optical sensors (typically SD) which are inferior for precision...

You can get bad deals as well as good deals.

All that you have provided are your opinions.

Including your opinion of what a 'gaming mouse' should be.

Gaming Mice use laser optical (HD) sensors...

Not exactly true a lot of gamers prefer optical gaming mice (of which there are many) with a lower DPI over Laser.

youtube.com/wat…088

Bought it a week ago! Recommend this, not the highest quality, however good for everyday usage

It's more than your average mouse, chastising the OP won't change anything. He used the terms listed on the ebay item, so regardless of whether its a gaming mouse or not elitist opinions don't change the fact this is a mouse for £2.99.

You can go to poundland and pick up one for £1, if you really can't stretch the extra £1.99 for this one. For 6 buttons, 1200 DPI and (arguably) a better look than Tescos. There is another one for £3.29 if you prefer a different style.

Appreciate the share OP, please don't feel reluctant to post deals in the future. Heat added.

This mouse should be fine for web browsing and general use. It's for gaming which people seem to be arguing over.

Voted hot by the way OP.

"A cheap gaming mouse will ruin the way a developer wanted you to experience the control of the game"

LOOOOOOOL! That has to be the most redundant statement ever.

Optical and Gaming don't mix well.
If your looking at serious gaming (ie spending more then 1 hour sessions and/or online play) then I would recommend you go into a bricks and mortar store and showroom their mouses.
As I see it a mouse is like footwear, a generic pair will be fine for the odd use, but if you wanting to run a few miles or walk a few dozen miles you want footwear which suits your feet and the usage.
A good pair of walking boots they might cost more then a cheap pair of trainers, but in the long run your feet and ankles will thank you for it. Same with a mouse and your fingers and wrist.

Don't get me wrong this would do as a general mouse, but for gaming I would save up for something more suited.
I mean most PC games have spent £400+ on the PC it seems silly to skip at the last hurdle.

Your opinion on the quality of this item would only be valid if you'd actually owned one, which we all know you haven't...
