I think it’s 6.99 in home bargains the last time I had was about 3 weeks ago
This is national too where stocks available.

Though it's new recipe stuff, bright green like witches wee and not the same smell as before.

Still better than the Spear & Jackson rubbish the bargain stores are peddling for £2.99

I wasn't saying hb didn't sell it I was saying they don't sell it for £3 odd, unless your all talking about the smaller bottles

Ahh.. New recipe, that's why it doesn't smell as nice!

They're not shouting about it on the bottle though.

I used to be quite happy with the stuff in B&M bought loads of bottles at end of season for the allotment. But this year's stuff from them smells like the worst public loo cleaner. Nasty cheap pine stuff. So bought Jeyes, only to find they've made it similar, it's somewhere between cheap pine and proper Jeyes Fluid. But it'll have to do!

Yes I was using ons called Black liquid or something and it was a good cheap alternative but the cheap one's smell like engine oil now, wonder if new regulations have taken something out or its just cost cutting

Yep that's the stuff. Black Outdoor Cleaner Liquid was HB version and Spear&Jackson for B&M. All may have been made in the same place. As all have changed in the same way.

Jeyes is the only one that retains its original smell when dry. Guess you get what you pay for now!
This stuff smells disgusting - I used it in a sprayer about 3 years ago and it still stinks of the stuff - nothing gets rid of the smell.

Scanning full price?

I've seen this in two other stores at this price on shelf edge labels. All Scottish stores though, perhaps not 'doon sooth' yet.

Yes I got a price check in both local smallish store and superstore, you keep your cheap Jay's & we'll keep our cheap alcohol!

Jeyes fluid is not as concentrated as it used to be. A very small amount diluted in water would produce a strong 'milky' solution with that distinctive Jeyes scent. Not anymore, this new stuff is weak and overpriced. I won't be wasting my money again on this, literally, 'money down the drain'

Do you have any suggestions for a alternative worth its money?
