Nice! Never used this before, but I've got a kitchen to plumb in this weekend, so I'm going to give it a go!
Says there's plenty near me, just a shame I don't really need it... I've still got a roll in the loft ready for when I do my kitchen!
Looks like the 50m reel in 15mm, and the 25m & 50m reel in 22mm are all reduced too!
That's very very cheap ! Heaaaatttt
whats the difference between this and homebase.co.uk/jg-…763. Isn't the PEX coil better. Which one to get for bathroom?

I don't think there is a massive difference

This is layflat, much more flexible, i wouldnt use regular after using layflat, im not sure if the regular is actually stronger or something, if not i wouldnt know why they still make it.
That article states that PEX is better. More tolerance to pressure & heat.

I imagine that is true, but if you look at the pressure and heat tolerance of both, and think about what you get in a domestic set up, you won't need that superior performance, at a cost of we ease of installation
I reserved one of these and then about 2 hours later I passed the store and popped in. Hadn't received the confirmation so I just picked one up off the shelf and bought it.
Then I hear a guy at customer service say 'it was that guy has just bought so there are none left now'
Basically, I picked up the item I had reserved and bought it. 2 hours after!
This must happen with loads of 'sorry we don't have any phone calls'

Was the shelf price the same as online? I picked up a reservation that scanned as more expensive so assume in-store prices differ from online.

PEX is better, good for hot water and should virtually last for ever. Polibutilene is only more flexible and not good for high temperatures. Will eventually became brittle but not sure how long it takes but you might find your house flooded when you will be older and unable to deal with. I also suggest to not use plastic fittings if there is no way to get easy access for replacement. Copper fittings are still the best and can be used with this pipe. I only use this stuff to make long runs and copper fittings at the very both end only. In my opinion not a replacement at all for good very reliable copper pipe especially for short length put together with too many fittings. It is not a lifetime replacement compared to copper
