Get off their backsides, go to a shop, and potentially infect hundreds of people?

The delivery chap just drops it on the doorstep... Oh, and he gets to keep his job!

They are probably pleased to be working and earning. There is no difference in a postal worker delivering your mail. The main issue is a contagion which can spread via the transferring of particles from one person to another being next to each other in the range of coughs, sneezes etc. The risk is far less getting an item delivered than going into a supermarket, even with distancing guidlines. You can still buy a TV from Currys online but not instore, as they are closed so I'm struggling to see your point.

Indeed, one person, delivery 100s of items to 100s of houses is safer, not to mention far more efficient...

I think you're out of order to be honest. Thousands have died due to being close to someone else and now you're moaning because people are sensibly getting items delivered as per Government guidance? My parents are at risk, I deliver their food and meds rather than them leaving home, you are basically calling them lazy. Clown.

Are you accusing amazon of being one of those companies, on a public forum?

It’s a very silly argument really.
no one is forcing delivery drivers to work, they choose to do it,they are self employed, and probably enjoying extra income and traffic free roads, also they leave the packages outdide, and don’t get close to people.
you don’t need to be dramatic and worry about it specially here in the deal thread.

Point taken....I just feel people should spare a thought about the key workers that are actually delivering these non essential alcoholic items. A few of which are working in conditions of little or no social distancing. Granted they are employed/self employed.
I'd say a wee dram is essential whilst under lockdown?
Never tried this one but gunna give it a go, thanks.
Really nice drink, but pretty much always £20 on amazon
Expired.
shows £25 now
