My sis loves this one! This may well be the England price - £16!

My local Tesco has re-jigged their alcohol stock after COVID-madness, probably preparing for summer.

It used to be this could only be found in Sainsbury's (according to my sis, who likes this) but they have the 1L bottle in there today - Tesco Express/Scotland price of £19.06 3473591.jpg

I've seen Only Fools And Horses 3 times. Still tickles me.

To be fair, it is funnier than your attempt at a pun.

Also £16 in Cheltenham Morrisons today
I'd say it's nationwide in Tesco and Morrisons as same price in Willenhall and Bilston. Haven't tasted the standart one yet but the one with raspberry flavor is a little bit too sweet but should be nice ice cold or with a lemonade and ice
I thought it was a typo

The raspberry one has been £16 for at least a fortnight as I picked a bottle up then.

Tastes pretty good in prosecco with added frozen raspberries. Not too sweet then.

Yeah, you said that on the previous thread.

Sorry. Didn't know you were attached to the number police.

Not policing anybody, just a joke tends to be funnier the first time.

What do people think of this vodka, good quality?
I did put a reply on here but it's been kicked into moderation because I linked to a new Supermarket Price checking site that was mentioned on Discussions originally. D'oh.

Anyway, basically saying that if you like smooth vodkas, you'll like this one. Her favourite is Mamont.

Sis said "It is really nice for the price - smooth, not too strong-smelling, a really good vodka almost on a par with Green Mark".

One European reviewer (think it was on vodkaphiles) said that we in the UK and US seem to prefer smooth vodkas, as they're now in vogue.

Sis likes Ciroc, Skyy, Mamont (I sometimes buy her the Grey Goose-alike Kirkland Signature French Grain 1.75L bottles from Costco). I'd say JJ Whitley Artisanal Vodka is in that vein as that's the sort of voddies she goes for. Not sure what the Potato Vodka is like.

She really hated Wyborowa for some reason and reckons it's meant to be drunk as shots.

Edit: Looks as though the £16/1L offer has been ongoing a while, as it's mentioned on their Twitter page on the 12th May twitter.com/JJ_…989

They also have a Tweet on the 2nd May saying this 1L bottle is £17 in Morrisons twitter.com/JJ_…104
(unfortunately, I can't price check online as it's not showing in their online store, at my end, anyway)

Only have two options come up on Supermarketwatch (thanks to whoever pointed it out in Discussions a few nights ago!) supermarketwatch.co.uk/pro…163

Yeah, that comment above ^^^^^
Looks like it’s worth a try
I love the raspberry & rhubarb varieties of J J Whitley. I'm on a quest to find the vanilla vodka at a decent price but it doesn't appear to be in any supermarkets local to me.
Supermarketwatch is now showing the Morrisons price (it only showed Tesco and Sainsbury's a few days ago)40955439-YZBvi.jpg

They rate it as good as grey goose/Costco vodka? I might have to try it!

No, it's not on vodkaphiles, just highlighting that it's assumed we are keener on the smoother vodkas here (think it was a Russian reviewer who made that observation).

The Vodka Guy has a review of JJ Whitley's Potato Vodka - I'll see if I can find anyone discussing the Artisanal Vodka.
