if this gets any hotter, it will be on Fy-ah:?

Err, these are only £2.39 from sportsworld.

Then why not post them?

That's what the HDUK community is about ;-)

Because its at that price every single day. Which makes it not a hot deal.

ive seen items on here that I dont think are that 'hot' but because its a community website everyone has different views on the price of goods

Not really... :?

It's good value for money, that's what makes it hot. Doesn't have to be on sale to be a hot deal.

If I find something that's been priced that way for a long time but people might not have known about I'll post it here. This place is about spreading the word on good prices.

I never go into sports shops so these prices would just elude me. Now I know it's there I'll go out of my way to pick one/two up.

But thanks for the heads up, I'll go into Sports World instead because I don't really have a need for two! :-D

I Am the dog

They're awful footballs, those Umbro ones. Far too hard. Do yourselves a favour and invest in a proper Nike or Adidas £10ish one.

i agree with shifty, they are good for a kickabout and then to feed to the dog but if you actually want to enjoy your game of footie and not have hurt feet after then invest in nike/addidas as shifty says.
still worth the money though, but dont get too excited

These are not a very good quality at all, we bought about 12 for our kids work team last year and they only lasted for a couple of uses then ended up in the bin. Even the ones we kept at home for our kids have not lasted at all.

I have seen these in Tesco a long time ago for £1.89 but not sure if they are still in store at that price. Generally they only last 2 games max! Awful quality... ok for the kids to mess about with if your going away for the weekend.

In my local co-op they have tons of different footballs, The same one here, Some mitre ones etc

Think they were £2.99 each.

These footballs are sh1t, big time! Me and my mates have been through loads of these, they just bust all the time! Not a bad ball for a kick about, but they don't hit well and feel a bit [email protected] Guess you get what you pay for eh

yeah I bought an adidas ball for about a tenner last longer and they dont hurt when you try and shoot

Thanks guys, I'll avoid then

For god sake stop being blinded by brands Addidas and Nikes balls below £2 are basically these with a lick of colour, there is no difference unless you are going to pay £60 and buy a authenic not a replica.

I'd recomend a total 90s nike football or adidas teamgiest. Obviously for astroturf and grass though. These umbro ones are good for the street though

let me guess, you dont play football? if you did you would notice the difference, umbro are always cheap, their footballs when wet become heavy and are painful to head and shoot. I have gone through so many of these. They are good for a kick about though

football=life, the only thing that makes a difference is the player, there is no difference and also Umbro are a decent sports brand. Painful to head and shoot you must be heading wrong and shot wrong.

at my football training everyone avoids the umbro ball, I dont think im the only person that thinks the same about these balls. You only get what you pay for.

Nike, mitre and addidas balls that are £10+ are much better than this ball, softer, nice to header and last long on astroturf, i had one of these and they mess up quick on hard astroturf:thumbsup:

hothothot agree with you,
these really are bad balls, saying that i did purchase one yesterday to use today for a kickabout, im not complaining about them cos i dont expect them to be amazing, but they are way too hard to play with and had a headache for half hour after heading one

Nike Total90, £9.09 in JJB. Can't beat that, QUALITY football.

they have good offer at mandm direct atm

These balls really arnt very good as everyone has said, go for a ball with a cushioned touch, teamgeists repliques from jjb are £10 each and are really good

there not good, there replicas, there these balls with a lick of paint, thats why there replicas.

Theres a clear difference in quality, the teamgiest repliques have a cushioned touch and a good flight, these umbro and patrick balls are like flyways in flight and are rock hard to kick

There footballs, it makes no difference if you're good your good, if you're **** your **** it makes no difference on boots balls whatever, Ronaldinho Ronaldo etc woudl still be class with a tennis ball, now look pass all the brands, it boils down to one thing the players ablity.

your right im not saying its bad its good for a kick about and if you dont want to spend to much

Most of them did when younger, as they use the proper balls costing around 80 pound that actually make a differnece not like a replica.

its just my opinion that i think replicas are better :-D

It makes no difference, it's the player that matters.

And how long the ball lasts.... Given the choice 99% of players would go for the £10+ ball just cus it feels better and lasts longer.
