My mum has the JML one and has even managed to cook fried eggs in it without oil - nothing has actually stuck and I think that I might go and get myself one.

Just found this bit of info on the Argos reviews - apart from 'proving' the pan on first use, somebody said this:-

"First time I used it,it stuck what it did not tell you is that you have to heat it up to a high temperature to stop it from sticking did not come with this bit of info after finding this out have had no problem good looking comes in many colours and is easy to clean would recommend."

Perhaps, that is the secret for non-sticking food then - JML probably should have stated this on the instructions.

Some people have had bad experiences, but I don't think they are using the pans correctly. Here's what I do, and what has kept my pans looking new after 18 months:

1. Make sure the pan is CLEAN before you use it. Rinse it with water to take the dust off.
2. Pre-heat, and let the pan warm up before you put anything into it
3. Cook as usual, without metal cooking tools, and don't let things burn to the pan (although if they do the ceramic is still far more forgiving than tefal teflon coating that will chip and flake)
4. CLEAN with soap and warm water, and a plastic brush or dish sponge. Wipe off any excess water and oil with kitchen roll or dish towel.

Presto - clean, white, and in great shape for years

Well I just used mine and it was perfect no sticking at all, I guess those who are complaining didn't read the instructions about warming it up first with cooking all letting it cool then clean, otherwise it wont be as good, so top tip read instructions..

Identical ones at the range for £6.99 - regular price and high quality.
