Voted hot because it is fantastic for drying baby/toddler clothes but not so great for adult clothes with exception of shirts
Does a good job, great if you have the space to keep it assembled but such a chore if you have to put it together and pack it away regularly that we cba. Snap in/out parts would be so much better than trying to line up all the screw in parts
Are these any good in reality? How long to things take to dry? Do they come out smelling alright?

I have one that I bought years ago. I've mainly used it in the winter time when it's been too cold to hang washing outside to dry.

It really depends on what your drying on the time scale it takes to dry something. It's not as quick as tumble drying but way more economical. Makes your clothes smell amazing (and the room your using the Buddy in)

I would recommend this to family/friends

Terrible in reality, just use a clothes horse and place it near a radiator.

If like me you don't have your radiators on in the summer months and it's raining I think this is perfect. I struggled to dry washing this weekend due to the heavy rain. I've heard nothing but good reviews from family and friends so waiting for mine to be delivered.
I have seen something similar to this one at home bargains. It was £30 but I am not sure if drying in my small spare room it would get damp and mouldy. When hanging clothes indoors I put an old 10L dehumidifier in the same room
Yet another pointless product from JML.

Try a clothes horse for about £9.

i was going to buy one of these but invested in a dehumidifier which seems to have done the trick. clothes dry within a day (less if they are light clothes). dehumidifiers don't take up room in the house which is an added bonus & if you buy a good one they usually don't cost much to run (i leave mine on all the time).

Lazy fu*k 😄
1300w motor
I had one of these and I must say they are not very useful. They are loud, use lots of energy and don't dry that well.
For winter drying indoors, a horse close to the radiator is better.
For summer, a horse and a silent fun work the same.
If your house has high humidity, a dehumidifier in the clothe drying setting in a small room will do a better job.

Ah yes, nothing says summer more than silent fun with a horse.

I found a dehumidifier in a room with clothes horse is better.

Granted dehumidifiers are not generally as cheap as this though.
