my neighbours swear by this , in fact have just sold their tumble dryer. Very cheap to run.

These thinks aren't cheap to run at all, it's basically a hair dryer attached to a tent. Will take far longer and handle less clothes than a tumble dryer. Good price i suppose but wouldn't dream of replacing my tumble dryer with it.

thank op order 1 to try out

Had one of these but it died after 2 years

FYI this thing cannot dry towels

'Can dry up to 18 garments at a time'

2 shirts
1 pants
9 sock
5 thongs
We had one. would only fit about half a load of washing in it and then it would take forever to dry the clothes. It might still be in the garage but im sure it went in the bin

I have one and LOVE it we bought 50p 4 pack of 4 plastic hangers and it works brilliant! We also use a smaller hanger 4 socks underwear etc and it holds plenty of items. Although towels have 2 go on the radiators

just ordered, hopefully this will deal with damp smelling clothes my daughter has problems with, thank you!

Mmm... a mixed bag of comments. We got one for our daughter so it'll be interesting to see the results. Will report back when she's given it a good testing..

Bought one from Ocean Trading (Bid.tv) on ebay artound 6 months back for £19.99. While it takes a good while to dry things, I have had many polo shirts shrink in the tumble dryer (my fault as the labels say no tumble drying), this item has a lower heat than the 'normal' on a TD and nothing has shrunk to date.

You can fit about 9 t-shirts in it comfortably without them being too crammed in to dry properly and it'll take about 3 hours to dry them, jeans will take about 4 hours.

And no obviously it's not as good as a tumble dryer but if you don't have the room for one it's better than trying to dry everything on a clothes horse

Use a black refuse bag and a hairdryer = Dri Buddy

Use a black refuse bag and a hairdryer = Dri Buddy

Hmmmm maybe just slightly less safe given hairdryers aren't designed to be run for hours non-stop
