This workstand went bananas on here in Jan when it was just the workstand - now it includes the pro torque wrench as well…

  • Jobsworth Pro Torque Wrench Set

  • Rubberised Jaw can be rotated by 360 for full adjustment
  • Jaws suitable for all frame and seatpost 25-40mm diameter
  • Max load : 25KG (60lbs)
  • Folds easily for storage
  • Tool tray

What's the point of an expensive, lightweight all carbon bike if you tighten up the bolts like a gorilla? Do it right with this amazing value for money torque wrench set.

  • 2-24NM range
  • Quick swap head
  • Super accurate torque tube design
  • Silent action

The Jobsworth Pro Torque Wrench uses a special torque tube design that does away with the click of less accurate wrenches. When the bolt reaches the correct tension, the shaft of the wrench pivots on the head of the wrench giving you the correct feedback that you've reached the correct torque value. Try using the wrench with one of the allen bits clamped into a vice and using a low setting 3-5nm to get a feel for how delicate the action is.

NB: Torque wrench has a minimum working setting of 2NM. Selecting a value below this level removes the 'torque limit' function and could result in overtightening of bolts. Please see the video below to see the subtle action of the torque head.

Contents:

  • Torque Wrench
  • Hex Key Attachments: 3/4/5/5-L/6/8/10mm
  • T20 / T25 / T30 drivers
  • Secure carry case

Will this support normal (heavy) mountain bikes with wheels attached? I want to sort out gears on a few of my families bikes but the pics show just a frame and talk about carbon framed bikes etc.

It says 25kg in the text. Unless your bike is made from depleted uranium you should be fine.

I have both of these, purchased separately.
Both are decent and this is a great deal.
Neither will blow you aware but good value esp at this price.

The extension bar does not fit any of the sockets, why do they do this?

Something to consider with that torque wrench, it will not cover everything on most bikes with its 24nm upper limit.
Things like cassette lockrings and disc centerlock lockrings require 40nm.
Threaded bottom brackets are >40nm - but you'd have to go some to strip that thread.
Pedals are 35-40nm - but that is way too tight in my experience.
Crank arms are typically >40nm, e.g. some SRAM ones for example are 54nm.

This should be fine for smaller bolts but if you really want to DIY your bike maintenance, you'll need another bigger range torque wrench as well.

True indeed - I didn't mention that to avoid people on their high horse about what they're for!

Yeah I asked the mods, and apparently that's how we're supposed to do it now, ignore the P&P field - seems illogical to me, but they change it if you don't
