what does it run on, gas canisters? a fuel bottle?
Only 560g (exc. gas canister)
I thought it was a cafetière when I saw the picture
What's the normal price? It doesn't say.
That's excellent for the cash. I have a similar system which will boil half a litre in about 2 mins which is comparable to the jetboil. Very efficient as no heat spills over the side of the pot. You can use really small canisters 100g which neatly fit inside making it pack up really well.

Have some heat....

This one gives a boil time of 4.5 mins, so not quite as comparable, 2 mins is very good. Good price on this nonetheless.
Jetboil is awesome but this one has a couple of nice touches. The gas regulator knob on this is way better than jetboil. We use a small split keyring on our jetboil rathern than the rubbish bit of metal you detach and slip in the outer material. This one gives you a cafitiere addon but something i would never use as coffee grinds would be too messy and you would end up wasting precious water cleaning then out. Hopefully you can disconnect the lid from the cafitiere. Also they provide you with a pot stand. Something jetboil will charge you another £20 for. The downside is jetboil include a plastic protector for the bottom when you disconnect the pot from the cooker you fix the pladtic protector to the bottom of the pot so that you dont burn yourself when handling it.

Another good hack is to buy a single 100g canister but then refuel it using an adapter you can buy on ebay or amazon for a couple of quid. Then you can use the standard butane canisters that are really cheap on ebay. Saves you a fortune as those 100g canisters are really expensive

Heat from me.

Thanks, tempted by that one even though it's a bit heavier.

That's the time quoted for a litre. Mine does half a litre in two which is roughly the same as a jet boil. I imagine that this will be about the same. Even though the pot won't really hold a litre...
Search the site for x2 or x3. Versions without coffee plunger. Same price

Butane is cheap because it is not the best fuel for these kinds of stoves, especially at low temperatures or for extended use. Compared to a propane/isobutane mix (that the more expensive canisters use) it may take longer to boil, especially, as mentioned, at colder temperatures. So worth bearing in mind depending on the conditions that you plan to use it in.

Other than some spots in the South of England last year when it was stupidly dry I've never counted water as precious. If I know I'm cooking up I'll fill up a water bag that you can keep empty while walking for cooking and cleaning. There's also a knack for cafatiere cleaning, the old dash and swirl will get them pretty clean if you use a medium grind. The filters the worse bit for cleaning, but it's not worth the hassle to get spotlless while on the go, just throw it in a ziploc.
