Just worked fine for me, quidco also?

Click Buy and then go to checkout you add voucher on 2nd stage "pay&confirm" section, on the right hand side there is a voucher option, select "i have a promotional or discount voucher" then put PLAYJOBY09 in the voucher code box and click apply, price should got to £9.87

Mainly not taking the voucher code...

I've not visited for a while and now I know why.

Ordered one for £9.87.

not sure if I need one, but these are good and I like blue!

Voucher worked fine for me, ordered and heat added

Thanks, tried it again and it worked, must have been a glitch

great item for small digital cameras but it wont be able to hold an SLR .. well it might hold it but I wouldn't risk hanging it on a fence or on a branch like they advertise these tripods.

Max weight load: 275g
Weight of a Canon 450D = 475g (body only)

Seems you have to use lower case.

ie. playjoby09

I tried with upper case and it wouldn't accept, switched to lower case and all was fine

I take it the code only works for the compact version. Tried to order the SLR zoom version and no joy even in lower case

Awesome deal, been look out for one of these, thank you

Have a look at this page joby.com/uk/…od/ - you can input your camera details & it will tell you which Gorrilapod you need.

As for the heaty hot issue - when your logged in youll see to the left of the original deal post a little red arrow with a little blue arrow.

If you click on the red you "add heat" & make a deal hotter & likewise if you click on the blue you make the deal colder.

That way good deals get hot & pants deals stay cold (or go subzero).

You only get one click per deal - Many member feel that if your voting "cold" its only fair to post why you feel its not a good deal (especially if its a recently posted deal).

When a deal gets to about 90 or 100 of heat it gets to the front page which is probably where go arrive when you go arrive at HUKD - click on the "new" tab to see newer deals.

I nearly purchased one from Play yesterday but decided against it.

The extra saving has swayed me, H&R added!

These are very good for uneven surfaces etc, had mine about 2 years, down side is remembering to take it with me :-(

Ordered. H&R added. Nice one Andy

tomb , thank s for thast link was going to order it but its not suitable as ,my camera is slr - need joby gorillapod slr which is £29.99

Don't forget Quidco tracked at 6p!!

i bought one tonight from asda for £7.50 (but it doesnt hold my camera i need the slr . will take it back tomorrow )

These are great. I bought the Gorillapod SLR version from Amazon for £23 a couple of months ago to use with my Panasonic camcorder and Canon camera and have already used it quite a lot. The SLR version is brilliant. Really light and easily transportable, the joints are totally flexible but still stiff enough to provide really steady support for my gear at any angle I want to shoot at. This version should be ok for compact cameras and at this price it's got to be good value.

thanks, its people like you that represent hotdealsuk well! Thanks very much you really have helped me out

got one from asda govan , 3 left -there at bottom shelf next to camera /photo counter

I just got one of these today for the DSLR in ASDA for £9.00 after someone mentioned it on here so chuffed.

I got it at asda hpool and there were 3 left :-)

I think this is a better deal since its the GO GO pack included which retails around £29.99 normally.

hotukdeals.com/ite…era

Check it out anyway and see if you would prefer the extra accessories included for £13.99
