This is getting cheaper every month !

Are these any good?
Keep seeing it for a fiver in my local Currys and thought it might help shed a bit of the Xmas dinner.
Anybody know which games its compatible with?

Paid £4.99

worth a punt at 4 quid!

Doubt there quality. Everywhere seems to be going down in price. Worth a go for £4. Anyone used this before???

Kinect for Chavs.

what games can u play with them? any? or specific games?

Not worth it..it's worth getting rid of the Wii and upgrading to a PS3 or controllerless Xbox kinect! Wii had the market cornered once, now it's all about graphics!

These are quite good for the price I use it on ps3 for mirrors edge not as gud as wii or kinnect

Just ordered 2 using Quidco - thanks

b11 - you deliver that as if it's a statement of fact, rather than an opinion. Yet worldwide the Wii has sold more consoles than both the PS3 and the XBox360 - and all three were released in 2006. However, the NDS trounces all three and to be fair, the NDS is hardly famed for it's stunning graphics. Although in current console sales the Wii is outselling every available console and is selling way more than twice the number of XBox360's.

Also, in terms of current worldwide games sales, the Wii occupies 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th spot - and a PC game sits proudly at the top. The poor old PS3 has one game in the top ten and XBox360 has a lowly two.

Fact is - the Wii is by far the most popular console that connects to a TV or monitor.

It's in bold too which makes it even truer and therefore very unlikely to contain erroneous or false information. Well done.

Yeah! etc.

I have one as a wireless media centre and all round thingy wotsit as well as games. It is loads of fun and if I want HD I just turn it off and go and join the real world. Graphics were all when I was a kid but now it's about fitting in as much fun between working and sleeping as far as I'm concerned.

maybe but nintendo still have edge for younger kids, families, gameplay

have a xbox/kinect and wii

nintendo are streets ahead in total no of consoles sold - about as many as the ps3 and 360 out together

i suspect they may lose some sales but their games using their controllers are tried and tested

i think a combination of the wii controllers and kinect is the way forward for these types of games, having nothing limits the types of games imo but time will tell

Never have my children complaining about the graphics
"Dad, the pixel ratio on Mario could be significantly better to enhance the whole enjoyment of the game"
Just switch on and play
Have heard that Nintendo are looking at releasing a new Wii which has four sensors to rival the egg box sorry x-box

However that is not to say that a wii + this device is better than an xbox and kinectic

Noone has posted a list of compatible games yet (on this thread) and from previous comments about this product it doesn't appear to work very well.

Worth a punt for £4 though, so voted hot

Erm this factually incorrect due to the fact Kinect and PS3 move has only just been released so is a poor representation of your arguement!

This would make a great debate on Jeremy Kyle.

I see b11's fanboy trolling successfully hijacked the thread

Here's a bit more info on the product if anyone's interested:
en.wikipedia.org/wik…jOG plus the related links at the bottom.

Not got one myself, but based on that it sounds like there arent any games compatible with it. Sounds like you just plug it into your wii controller and it encourages you to do the motions properly to burn calories, instead of sitting on the couch just flicking your wrist.

Had one but my son didn't like it. I know it worked on the Lego series of games and believe it works on any walking type game.

To walk or run you have to actually walk or run rather than using the wii remote.

Good at wearing the carpet out!
