I have been keeping my eye on this for a while but didn't want to pay the usual £50! This is a brilliant price and another one ticked off my son's Xmas list!

I thought I done well doing the exact same for £10!

Although they sound exciting, these sort of chemistry/electronic sets are often left unused and end up being flogged off in charity shops for a couple of quid.

My son is into all this sort of stuff (& so is his dad) so I'm confident it's a worthwhile purchase. I think the reviews on Amazon speak for it as well. I appreciate it's not everyone's cup of tea though.

It seems amazing that this sort of sixties toy keeps going when Raspberry Pi etc helps teach far more relevant skills.

Been looking at Raspberry pi to get a 9 year old into electronics and circuits etc.. would this not be a good starting point before he moves onto the pi?

I bought one of these for my son a couple of years back and it has been the most used science type set that he has ever owned. They are really very good and this is a reallyreasonable price.

This is an excellent price, got my then 8 year old this for his birthday last year and he loves it, it certainly won't be making its way to a charity shop any time soon!

Had this for 2 years my 12 ye old son and his dad still play it. Bargain at that price!

I suppose it could be. Our lad was using the pi when he was 9.

Fantastic item - my 6 year old (now 8 ) loves it. His younger brother has this on his Christmas list and for 30 it’s just been purchased. Heated.

Bought this for my daughter & she loves it. Well used. Now been handed over to her brother to enjoy. Great buy at this price.
