Me neither. :[ Prefer Dickens type of ad any day.

Every year the toys & such sell out super fast, and most end up on eBay for twice the price. This year though? I think that's their worst ad, I preferred the fake snow globe one.

Its a John Lewis advert, they are always **** sentimental ****! :DHa! You … Its a John Lewis advert, they are always **** sentimental ****! :DHa! You can't even say the slang for balls!

Not even slightly sentimental this year... boring!

Just watched it so I could moan about it properly. They can't even do that right which ruins my argument completely!

Loved the advert

Ah the true spirit of Christmas.

Sad looking soft toys. Pity they couldn't have made them with happier looking faces.

To me they designed the advert around the soft toys this year, rather than creating something original, they just want to get people in the store fighting over the toys, but that's just me being cynical,

Are you suggesting the advert is a money making exercise? Whatever next?!

£6m and 6 months to make!! oO

No, that's just you describing a John Lewis marketing exec.

how can they possibly justify that cost?!?! Ridiculous. I really like the advert but cannot see where the money went oO

Just seen it very disappointing this year - the student who made a fake Christmas advert for his A level project and who John Lewis invited him to visit is far better - he made his in 2 weeks and I believe they have now offered him a job.

The trampoline isn't real...shhh

The CGI in the ad is top notch, but they put in an African pygmy hedgehog instead of European. The other animals would be bouncing around a stiff hedgehog corpse at those temperatures.
