Indeshit, Hotpoint, Creda avoid them all unless you have an extended warranty and plenty of holiday days left to be at home for call outs after the initial 12 months when they seem to work OK.

build quality on these are not as good as the mid-price machines, you will need to take out extended warranty's or you'll be buying another machine sooner rather than later....

Sadly not everyone is fortunate as you, anyone who buys this should factor in repair costs and added warranty once the JL one is over which is either a yearly fee or a labour cost of £100+ a call out. You could get your local guy out though if it doesn’t come with the usual parts warranty. Either way for a little more than the total cost you can get a one with a 5 year warranty.
Indesit are crap

Avoid
If you want a budget machine it's hard to beat BEKO. Actually, not much more than this and you're into Bosch territory. Why take the risk on a brand with a poorer reputation?

I've had an indesit washer for 4 years now, still going strong and never had an ounce of trouble. Also had a seprate dryer from them and again, no problems. With all machines, you run the risks of faults, that's life. If this is in your budget, it's a great price. Especially from JL.

Have you ever heard the saying "they don't make them like they used to" well that certainly applies to Indeshit/Hotpoint.
Nowadays the quality and reliability has gone and they are made to a very cheap budget whereas years ago a Hotpoint machine could last for 20 plus years.
