Found 29th Nov 2013
John Lewis have lowered their prices to match Apple's one day offer but with an additional 1 yr guarentee so 2 years...(not quite the 3 years they were offering earlier this week!).

For example:
iPad Air 128gb wifi and cellular is down to £678 from £739
iPad Air 64gb wifi and cellular is £608
iPad Air 32gb wifi and cellular is £538
iPad Air 16gb wifi and cellular is £468

iPad Air 128gb wifi is £578
iPad Air 64gb wifi is £508

I've just listed the ones that are in stock.

If you know where you can get an iPad Air at a better price with 2 years warrenty, please let me know.

Is a two year warranty so important with apple, as long as it's not DOA they rarely break, I have iPods still running years on, they usually break due to accidents, so warrantys wouldn.t cover anyway..

I've had both an iPhone 5 and an iPad break - nothing to do with accidental damage. Rare (as we are a household of many iphones and ipads) but I sure was glad of the warrenty when they did. Straight out swap for new ones then and there.

APPLE fix their prices all round, whatever APPLE says, goes!

I got my iPhone 5 changed 3 times during the 1 year apple warranty, but with this John Lewis warranty it may not be easier as just walking into an apple store and walking out with a newer one

Any money off Apple products is a good deal.

Heat !!!

Only the dearest ones are in stock sadly

Excellent, British giant matching American giants Black Friday sales plus adding 2 yrs guarantee, I bet it will go out of stock very soon.

I would go one step further and get Currys PC World to price match this price for additional 10% off for those bothered

John Lewis sold out on all 16gb wifi

Currys also do a price match and will then beat any cheaper price by 10%.
Currys are selling the Ipad Air 64GB for £559 so will match John Lewis price of £508 making the 64GB model £457.
I have confirmed this with the Currys helpdesk, the product just has to be available to buy in both stores.
Hope this helps someone :-)

Apple 16gb wifi are £368 and 3% quidco which is - another £10.80
£358 in total

Bought a 32gb air yesterday from JL, hope they price match today now I've emailed them,

I emailed jl asking them to price match at 12:15 this morning. If they honour it (how could they not?) I'll have 30 days to find stock

They were out of stock as soon as the sale went live just after midnight. It probably would have been better to buy 1 earlier in the week then get a retrospective price match today.

Loop that's what I did, sent the retrospective price match at 2am and when I got up for work I had a confirmation John Lewis would refund the difference, plus got the 3 year warranty.

I wish I'd done that now!

I bought the 128gb one 2 days ago, and got a pdf print out of it in stock in my basket this morning - emailed JL this morning askign them to price match their own price....(not sure what they'll say about the difference between the 2yr and 3yr guarentee)..

Jl price matched asda for me with 3yr warranty which was a bit cheaper. Might be worth a go.

Just a heads up, the white 16GB Air is back in stock at John Lewis

For those who purchased earlier this week, JL have emailed me and are price matching even though the earlier offer had 3 years warranty (so today's prices, but extra warranty - no quibbling). Great!

I ordered and collected on sunday from John Lewis, I got the ipad air 64gb for £508, but only a two year warranty, how did you manage to get the 3 year warranty?.... Thank you, I am new to this! x

I bought an ipad before the 28th (when they were doing a special offer of an extra years warrenty), then when they lowered their prices on Friday (after the special offer had ended), I asked them to pricematch as I'd bought it at a higher price within the last 28 days. I thought they might say "ah but it wasn't an equivilent offer as there was an extended warrenty" but they didn't. Good old John Lewis.

Thank you... I guess I shall just have t be happy with the two years warranty! ;-) x

Sorry! If I'd have figured it out beforehand and been sure it would work, I'd have posted on here before!

This deal should be expired now - it was only for Black Friday
