Good price.I darent buy it as my mrs always shrinks my clothes.A fortune on clothes all wasted and she bloody lies saying she put them on 30° yet the dial is on 50° on the machine.Grrrrrrrr

I knew that was coming. Besides working, looking after our child, cooking, washing up and doing all the other chores ,yes thats right I do all that , I would hope she could manage a simple task as putting the washing on the correct temperature.

Sounds like a cunning plan on your wife's part to get out of doing the laundry. I've used it very successfully. Turned all my wife's bras grey and she never let me near the washing machine again!

I know the feeling, and the number of shirts she has turned pink in the wash....

I actually wish it was cunning but alas its just the way she is. She doesn't think what she is doing and lies even when caught red handed. All our furniture is scratched or stained due to her disregard.I dont think she does it on purpose but Ive just given up with it all.

Have some heat, ordered a blue one. Still in stock in blue, green and grey.

thanks OP, heat added

That is the eventual outcome for any ongoing married partner! Eventually the other half realises that insisting is of no use and they just give up and learn to live with it rather than change it

LOL do them yourself then! men can also use washing machines you know

Very good price, I ordered two, one for my dad and one for my boyfriend, who actually know how to use the delicate cycle on the washing machine and besides, hand washing them is better. They also know how to do that, despite being male LOL

I thought that the comments might give some idea whether this is a quality product and worthy of the high price, but I should have known better really

Just in time for summer!

I have put my husbands wool jumpers in the family wash many times, on one occasion I even tumble dried one!!! I panicked as he had only worn it twice, I put it in a sink of Luke warm water with loads of hair conditioner to release the fibres, it smelt a bit suspect but it did the trick, he still wears it now and has never complained that it's tight, ( I didn't own up). Unfortunately with four children I have bundles of daily washing, picking through for special care items is a bind, and yes I've done it to my own clothes also.

Plenty more fish in the sea mate

Now we know where Starfleet Academy buy their uniforms from

Good price. Have some heat.

You don't even need to wash a wool jumper more than once a year. If it's real wool, it doesn't stink when you sweat in it (within reason). It came off a sheep's bum, it'll be all right. Just rinse in the sink with cold water and woollite detergent and she'll be right.

well, rhino, sorry if I have upset you, but it is a valid point. It seems to me that simply being a woman, means that you automatically know how to cook, clean etc. Yet some don't, its not easy running a house.

The point is, its me thats running the house yet because Im a man you assumed I was just expecting the wife to do it because shes a women. I dont stereotype people because of their sex but it appears a lot on here do.

where does that expression come from? I heard it once when I was a kid

Some advice for you. I may stand corrected but afaik Merino Wool is fine in the washing machine. *any* other wool is handwash only. If you do shrink it, soak it in a solution of warm water and hair conditioner and gently pull back into shape. HTH.

REALLY? Have you ever smelled a sheep? Once sweat hits the air, it stinks, even in wool.

Glancing at the thumbnail I thought it was a Star Trek original series cosplay item. Disappointed it wasn't

Same here. The Mrs is brutal at washing. You would think she could wash a jumper without shrinking the thing!!

Lying over the temperature set on the washing machine....Gosh definitely issues if that is the case. Jeramy Kyle could always help with a lie detector test.

Don't mean to hijack this post but House of fraser have machine washable 100% merino wool jumpers in various colours and sizes for £25. Label is but Linea and good quality.
