As you can register for a free 5 year warranty, I'd say this is an excellent deal.

Looks nice on paper... but read some reviews - Panasonic(or rather Vestel) has really bad reputation for their washing machines. You will be sick of amount of issues despite 5 years warranty which really needed in this case...

Can anybody else give advice on quality, I will not purchase another Samsung as mine packed up after 2 1/2 and under Samsung 5yr warranty, they would even send a engineer out. Trading standards and watch dog are now involved.
I need to purchase a reliably washer with a 5yr warranty around the £350.00 .

I feel the reassurance purchasing from JL should help.

incredible product for price

Mother has had this washer for a few years now without issue, and she loves how quiet it is.

If Vestel really are the manufacturers of this product you should give it a wide berth. I had already heard that Panasonic TV's are already produced by Vestel a Turkish manufacturer of low end products. Why on earth would a top brand manufacturer associate itself with such a company. Have a read and see for yourself. Panasonic washing machines not mentioned.

I'd avoid. We have had an earlier model & the bearings went, washing machine replaced by Panasonic. The newer steam version 10kg one we now have, in less than 6 months the heating element blew. Then after the heating element was fixed a loud bang occurred and smoke came out the back - called Panasonic sent out a kid, saying there must have been a coin in the drum. The washing machine is now tearing clothes. Stay away, even with the 6 years warranty!

Panasonic, Samsung, LG do not make there own machines. There all made by third party companies in China or Turkey. I work in the appliance industry and I wouldn't touch any of these makes with a barge pole.

I've had the 10kg for over a year no problems at all other than a colour catcher getting stuck in the drain which was our fault. Panasonic sent out an engineer all sorted within a week. Machine is still as quiet as when it was new. Until it gets to the final spin you wouldn't even know it's on.

Which is best this one or the Samsung in currys for £349 at the moment?

Sorry £369 to compare the same size

I purchased this machine a while back for £340 plus £100 cashback and 5 year parts and labour warranty from Panasonic, purhaps the cash back offer is still available, the warranty definitely is.
anyways, I'm very happy with the machine.

Probably fine if you can stay in for the repair man
