All stores I’ve worked in have Click and Collect items arrive by their own …All stores I’ve worked in have Click and Collect items arrive by their own internal lorries/vans, which go to their stores anyway. I for one, won’t pay the fee, but each to their own

It is a £25 item reduced to £7.50. Even with the £2 added on it is only £9.50 and 38% of RRP. Or in other words a 62% discount. If you don't want to buy the item then don't. But don't moan when something is as heavily reduced as this and you want the company to deliver it to your local C&C station for free and also include a free returns label with all their items. Who pays for that if you change your mind and decide to return the item?

Like I said before. The reason local businesses fail is due to the selfish consumer who wants everything including free delivery, expects to pay peanuts for it, demands an exemplary level of after sales service and free returns. And them moans and posts bad reviews if anything in this demanding yet super cheap chain goes wrong.
I might get one of these delivered to Alan Partridge in a love taxi

Why? Do you think the item will magically get from the JL depot to your local C&C with no expense at all? It is this sort of freebie mentality that has driven the success of shitty couriers like Hermes and a glut of lowly paid couriers who earn 25p per delivery.

It costs around £3-£5 to organise c&c, so companies still make a loss
These are brilliant quality, just picked mine up from the local garage with collect+....gotta say John Lewis boxes are the best I've ever seen and justifies the £3.50 p+p especially to me in northern ireland...if you want one of these and a couple of quid collection or delivery is stopping you don't be silly and order one while they are still available they are really good...Thanks OP.
