Perfect partners
With TVs getting slimmer and built-in speakers getting smaller, choosing the right sound system is more important than ever. Soundbars enhance your TV’s sound quality and add that extra audio punch to all your movies, games and TV programmes. More affordable and easier to set up than a full size speaker system, they don’t compromise on quality either.

Take a look at our full range of soundbars.

Don't forget...
If you want to connect your TV to a blu-ray player, games console, soundbar or soundbase then you'll need a HDMI cable. View our collection of cables & connections

And if you’re looking to elevate your viewing experience with cable management, then why not take a look at our wall mounts and TV stands.

From what I've read online they are basically the same internally 7020 has shorter legs and was made for Black Friday where as the 7100 is for the year. Theres a deal on here for the 7020 for £529 (with the code) and 6 years extended warranty with Richersounds and free delivery so I went with that one.

Which did you order? The 7020 or 7100?
Edited by: "deals4you2017" 4th Jan
If you've got a soundbar you don't want the 7020 as it won't fit under your TV. The 7100 is the exact same panel just with a taller stand but if you're wall-mounting just get the cheapest one with the best warranty.
Ended up going John Lewis to use up an old voucher I had
Cheers OP been looking for 65” specifically this last couple of weeks either Samsung or Sony. Can’t go wrong with this price from JL.

Hi, do both have satellite feed?
10bit?
Maybe a daft question but does this have Freeview? It mentions TV Plus but not Freeview.

Ordered. Delivery due on Friday. Just seen the richer sounds real but I still think John Lewis is a safer bet in the current economic climate.
Btw - anyone with a blue light card can get John Lewis vouchers for 5% off so I ordered £550 at a cost of £522.50. That makes it a lower price than the Richer Sounds deal too.
Too much delivery to Northern Ireland.
Ordered UE65RU8000 from richer sound last week for £749. Is the difference worth the extra?

8+2

Does that mean it isn’t ‘true’ 10bit? Apologies for my ignorance on this matter.

Are they instant online codes or do you need to wait for paper vouchers in the post then order in-store? Cheers

Instant codes... you get them straight away and can use anytime after.

I even did the same in Ikea. Selected all my stuff, worked out the price then stood in the store and paid for the vouchers to use at checkouts.

Bear in mind in the future a refund would be in JL gift vouchers

A couple of years ago my TV packed up after 4 years, JL didn't have any decent alternatives so they gave me a full cash refund so i could get a TV elsewhere, if you paid in vouchers you would be stuck with them to use at JL, not worth the £30 saving IMO

Good point thanks. The last 3 tv's I've bought have been from JL anyway - hopefully a suitable deal would come up if that were to happen.

If it’s any help the only half decent 10 Bit TV’s at around this price that I know of are... Panasonic GX800b or GX820b which are around £599 - £799 depending on screen size, main downside to these tv’s are apparently the viewing angles. Occasionally there are some deals around £750 for the Sony 9000 series TV’s which I believe are great sets (full array LED’s and decent HDR too) main downsides apparently are the android O.S.

Gooo
I'm after a TV after a fair few years and boy is it a minefield. More importantly, when did they start with legs either end instead of a stand.

I've got limited space using a TV stand and most don't list the distance between legs, so I'm stumped of it will fit my stand.

Anyone able to measure for me?
I bought this before Xmas from John Lewis at £559 with there guarantee, they price matched with crampton and Moore, the TV is brilliant, like watching films in the cinema, I need stop looking at prices though, it will do my head in if I see it lower than this!

Hi there,
How long did it take to receive the price match money back?
Thanks
I'll be honest mate the whole customer service was appalling from JL, the delivery didn't arrive on the time/dates. Driver said he wasn't coming then he did when I went out, nightmare, but you email them to confirm your happy to keep the price matched item and within 24 hours it was back in my account, I paid through PayPal though.
I went with ru7400, i don’t know the specs but i think its always best to go for the latest model you can afford.

Very Hot. Would have bought this if i hadn't just bought the Costco Hisense deal one!

I couldn't find it at first either. There's a section called Gift Cards/Vouchers and it's listed there. You have to have a physical blue light card £4.99 to be able to order the gift vouchers. I don't have one yet but am going to order it...should pay for itself with the first gift card purchase

Not relevant to this post but my Currys LG packed in recently. They couldn't fix it so they gave me a Currys voucher for what I paid to replace the TV with. I originally paid cash so shouldn't they have refunded me cash rather than a voucher?
