heat from me. seems just about value for money at £25. frighteningly overpriced at £100!
Is it even worth that?
Monistrol Cava around £8, 2 other bottles at say £4 per bottle, Crackers that will store without issue at say £5 so already at £20 + 10 other items for your additional fiver..........I'd probably say so.
Not worth £100 or even £50 but seem pretty good for £25. Don't forget to factor in delivery or collection charge unless you spend enough to make free.
It's terrible they charge for click & collect now unless you spend thirty quid.

Not really.
Wow poor reviews for this hamper even when it was half price.
good find op, heat added
Looks like excellent value to me at this price, especially with the wicker basket.
Great value for sure and the basket is nice! Not sure whether I'll bother to buy.... not tempted with the contents. Personal choice of course but definitely a great deal!
Great find , ordered as a present . Will take out the items that will go out of date and replace with some similar things next December x
Ordered one and the smaller one, like someone said can always replace some of the items and use as present next year.
I'll wait till it drops to a tenner

Good luck - I've never seen John Lewis Hampers reduce to 10% of price!
Hampers are so 80's.....you always save money buying things separately ...... I vote to BAN the hamper

I don't see how you could save on this one. The basket alone would cost about £10.

Great; show me the guiding light where you could save money buying all these things for less than £25 and you'll be my hero!
Thanks OP will replace out of date items, and use as ''member of staff of the year, Christmas 2016'' gift.

Added 5 x John Lewis Value Reporters Notebook (excellent notebooks, see reviews) to make it FREE click & collect & again for work use.

buy two, then return one immediately
was only 3 in stock when I ordered so yes we got the last few notebooks lol

I didn't want one lol

I was just pointing out it's a pain now as like you say you have to order things you don't want to get free C&C and that's too much hassle in most cases.

I can understand if peeps are doing loads of orders for a couple of quid but I think it should be less than thirty.
Im astounded at the low quality of the items contained in this given that its sold by john lewis. I mean matthew walker xmas pudding, they were selling those in the pound shops!

I reckon the value of the contents is worth at least £25 though so the basket hamper is free essentially. Good deal for some
or the Golden Glimmer one at £31.25 so gets free click and collect

That one is OOS
Not voting as we are borderline, but this seems typical of certain retailers and manufacturers with grossly inflated RRP à la Thorntons that then apply substantial reductions or 3 for 2 etc. in an attempt to convince consumers they are getting a bargain when in many cases they are still paying over the odds. This case is slightly different as they need to get rid of Xmas stock but the principle remains the same and presumably some people have been rich and/or stupid enough to pay £100 for it, at 25 quid it is probably just about a bargain but I still think people would not be snapping it up without that £100 RRP at the back of their mind.
do not buy from these con artists, they dont fulfill your order

It may be the reverse. Perhaps pound shops are selling some good quality items? I believe that Matthew Walker make Christmas puds for many different brands including Harrods/Fortnums (not certain) but of course the ingredients would alter according to each brands' specifications. The ones in pound shops may be stock clearance.

They haven't banned anyone regardless of how special you thnk you are it's just that Chavs aren't stupid enough to buy overpriced junk because it's got John Lewis over the door, so mugs like you keep them going.

£25 for a basket of ****.....they love fools and their money....

I bought a reduced JL hamper this year, and was pleased with it. However, I agree, using the deals on HUKD I could build a better stocked and priced hamper. If I am organised enough I may do that next year. Now for someone to post a cheap basket deal. X)
John Lewis, another large chain living off their good name, service and quality now = crap!!
