Those who may be off on a Saga Cruise have reached the appropriate age for doing it. I'd be surprised if you achieve the same seniority if you continue to show this sneeringly condescending attitude.

I am writing this on behalf of my father who can't afford a Saga cruise but does love ale.

I hope he might pass a can to me if I get him a case.

I remember pale ale, kids in the park with jumpers for goal posts, hoop and stick and the all time number one, ball in a cup.

It's just called golden ale and it's very good.
All the breweries that normally brew darker beer are now doing golden stuff - Hobgoblin and spitfire.
Not that I'm an expert mind.
