Titles Comprise: Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Urban Cowboy, A Civil Action and The Generals Daughter

Saturday Night Fever: John Travolta gives a sensual and intelligent performance as the troubled Tony Manero - Brooklyn paint store clerk by day and undisputed king of the dance floor by night. Every Saturday, Tony puts on his wide collared shirt, flared trousers and platform shoes and heads out to the only place where he's seen as a god rather than some young punk.

But in the darkness, away from from the strobe lights and glitter ball, is a tragic story of disillusionment, violence and heartbreak. Without a doubt, Travolta's performance made him a Hollywood legend, but 'Saturday Night Fever' is more than just a movie that defined the music and fashion of a generation. It's a powerful and provocative urban tragedy that carries as much significance today as it did in 1977.

Grease: John Travolta solidified his position as the most versatile and magnetic screen presence of the decade in this film version of the smash hit play Grease. Recording star Olivia Newton-John made her American film debut as Sandy, Travolta's naive love interest.

The impressive supporting cast reads like a "who's who" in this quintessential musical about the fabulous '50's. Grease is not just a nostalgic look at a simpler decade - it's an energetic and exciting musical homage to the age of rock n'roll!

Urban Cowboy: John Travolta stars as a country boy trying to make the best of his new life and new marriage in a big city...

A Civil Action: John Travolta (Face/Off, Phenomenon) gives another brilliant performance in a suspenseful, true story that's been praised as the greatest legal thriller of all time! Jan Schlichtmann (Travolta) is a cynical, high-priced personal injury attorney, who only takes big-money cases he can safely settle out of court. Though his latest case at first appears straightforward, Schlichtmann soon becomes entangled in an epic legal battle...one where he's willing to put his career, reputation and all that he owns on the line for the rights of his clients!

Also featuring Robert Duvall (The Apostle, Phenomenon), William H. Macy (Fargo,m Mr Holland's Opus) and John Lithgow (The Pelican Brief, TV's 3rd Rock From The Sun) - this gripping, widely acclaimed hit delivers edge-of-your-seat entertainment!

The General's Daughter: There's the right way, the wrong way, and the Army way. But there's no way military investigator Paul Brenner (John Travolta) is going to participate in a cover-up when Fort MacCallum officials try to hide the motive behind the murder of a female officer.

Travolta's magnetic performance sparks this riveting thriller from the director of Con Air and the producer of The Hunt For Red October.

Almost Worth it for The General's daughter alone. Maybe it's me but it's a wide variety of styles and liking them all may be a stretch.
