Found this in Sainsburys St. Albans. They had No Drain Tuna Steak with a little Brine and No Drain Tuna Chunks with a little Sunflower Oil. The sign on the shelf had one of those little red sale signs next to it showing the original price of £1.64 and the sale price of 41p. I grabbed 8 of each as the dates on the cans were Dec 2011 and Dec 2012 respectively. Phew, finally posted my first deal!!

I wish this was in my local

I'm not too fond of greenpeace for various reasons but they slammed John West's for the way they catch Tuna (Dolphins in nets etc)

+1 John West have a terrible record.

Sod the dolphins, mmmm tuna.

Damnit i paid £4.69 for a 3 pack the other day, they dont do them single packs in my local

does anybody else find this quite salty in comparison to the normal tins

I like the way they market "no drain" like it's a good thing.

It just means you were paying for half a can of water before.

Funnily enough Dolphin Friendly Tuna used ot be all the rage. Till they found out the nets did more damage than good.

Haven't tried these yet, but I noticed the brine tins seem to have far more brine/liquid in then than they used to. Have to drain for ages and really hard to remove the flavour.

Hope it gives you bowel trouble....
