Found these at the Wembley store. They were on the end of an isle. When i left around 3pm there were around 40 boxes left, with 12 in a box i think. but people were taking them by the box-full

Couldn't see it online.

June 2012

you bought 12 packs of tuna, each contains 4 tins?!
that's 48 tins in total for £12, good deal. Do you own a sandwich shop or something? that's a lot of tuna to go through lol

if i did i'd wouldnt have left a tin! i go through at least 5 tins a week, so its doing no harm sitting on the shelf.

yeah, no-one seems to be having any luck so far. probably is store specific as its not online, or maybe a few of them are clearing out the stock for something else, stacks of 3 tins or something.

Will check my local, thanks

Hot deal! Fab, if you can get it at this price.

you're not meant to give cats brine, tuna in spring water is what you want.

a trip to asdas a must, seems like they have a lot of offers

Sounds more like someone at that branch has made a mistake. That officially beats the record for the cheapest Tuna ever I believe.

£5.21 in wrexham store

yet another 1 store wonder deal voted ludicrously hot by people who will never be able to benefit from the deal, crazy!

£5.21 in South Woodham Ferrers (where?). Asked them to check price. Funny thing was it was on the end, which at that price is odd. One to keep an eye on.

Not Reduced in Weston Super Mare. over 500 Degrees and no one else has got the deal!

Whine whine whine one store only blah blah
The store is mentioned - Wembley
People living there? dunno but few hundred thousand i'd guess
So all you individual whiners feel your inability to get a deal is more relevant to the tuna being cheap than thousands of people that can?
...i see

Not trying to tell anyone what to buy or eat, but I thought some people might be interested in this:

John West bottom of league!

Is 'Dolphin Friendly' tuna ok to eat?

A: 'Dolphin Friendly' labels generally mean very little since they adhere to no legal standard or minimum criteria. The term usually refers to the type of fishing gear used but gives no consideration to the broader impacts associated with tuna fishing. This means that while the tuna may have been fished using methods less likely to catch dolphins, it may come from overexploited tuna stocks or have been caught using methods that impact on the marine environment in other ways. For example, longlining for tuna is associated with a high bycatch rate of turtles, sharks and seabirds.

If you have to eat tuna, only buy line-caught skipjack tuna.
