Super Weekend deal for Black Friday weekend (29th Nov-01 Dec).

£2.49 for 4 x 145g.

Choice of brine or sunflower oil.

I usually buy Lidl's own tuna steak cans, but they're bumped up the price of that in recent times, this makes it a good deal if you're into chunks and brands.

In the latest leaflet.

Is that the red&black leaflet?

I knew I should have picked one up when I was in today
This is drag net fished unfortunately, not pole and line, but unlike Lidl's steak.
What are these offer weekends like at Lidl,I'm always worried that it will be a bit of a scrum and people fighting when it's cheap smoked salmon and such,do they have much of the stock in or is just a small amount to get the punters in,do they queue outside before it opnes?I might get to the front and then throw marbles behind me

Great i will be picking some up at my local. Prob get an extra one to donate to the local food bank too. Good offer.
The lidl own brand is much better, tastes better and larger tins and the 4 pack are £2.49 all the time

That's a good tip,are they a reasonable size?

They're 160g. I must live in an uncompetitive area or something because unlike for them, they're £2.79 in my store.

I used to buy the 200g tuna 'steak' cans at 89p each but they want £1.19 for them now.

And there are no scrums here for the weekend deals and they have a decent amount in. Equally I wouldn't go on a Sunday afternoon hoping there will be stuff left.

In my experience the latter is true - a small amount to get the punters in unfortunately

160 / 165g I think, just standard size tins, or what used to be standard size tins, before John West and the like reduced sizes.

Its much better tuna IMO
