Yeah and oil is yucky, brine wins. :-D
I'd take the 6 tins for £3 over the 4 tins for £2.69 anyday.
I prefer it in oil or springwater, brine is yukky lol
£2.39 for 4 tins sunflower oil at londis....so voted cold as tuna in the pacific sea
Think AshleyRFC's find of 3 for £1.50 at Asda is a heck of a lot better than the Tesco offer!!!

And the brine version is soooo much healthier than the sunflower one...

I agree the brine one is healthier, and theres also something about fish in oil takes some of their Omega 3 stuff.

And Debz I prefer the springwater one too, but brine is alright also, just cant stand the one in oil, its so yucking draining it.

YUCK!!!!!

I disagree, too much salt is way unhealthier than small amounts of unsaturated sunflower oil which is easily drained anyway.

Quite apart from either of those, however, it's the Mercury content which has to be a worry - especially when guidelines suggest you shouldn't eat more than two tins a week.

And aren't Tuna being overfished too?
farmfoods were doin princess in brine for 50 pence last week, don't know if its still available
Asda are doing the 3 tins for £1.50 in brine and springwater so you can buy whichever you prefer ;-)

I just think for the majority of people it doesn't matter to them.
