When a retired hit man is forced back into action by a brutal Russian mobster, he hunts down his adversaries with the ruthlessness that made him a crime underworld legend in John Wick, a stylish tale of revenge and redemption. After the sudden death of his beloved wife, John Wick (Reeves) receives one last gift from her, a beagle puppy named Daisy, and a note imploring him not to forget how to love. But John's mourning is interrupted when his 1969 Boss Mustang catches the eye of sadistic thug Iosef Tarasov (Allen) who breaks into his house and steals it, beating John unconscious and leaving Daisy dead. Unwittingly, they have just reawakened one of the most brutal assassins the underworld has ever seen. John's search for his stolen vehicle takes him to a side of New York City that tourists never see, a hyper-real, super-secret criminal community, where John Wick was once the baddest guy of all

Free on Amazon Prime, along with sequel

This is a misconception. Amazon Prime is a subscription service that requires a fee, therefore any films on Prime are not free.

If anyone has a US account it’s 4k there and can be had for similar price.
Free on Amazon Prime, along with sequel
Perhaps that’s a good sign for getting a 4K upgrade in the near future

I thought this was in 4k already?
1&2 are $9.99 on the US store with both in 4K as Heroic Hulk stated above.

According to The_Heroic_Hulk it's 4K in the US store (which means an upgrade could be immanent). The sequel is in 4K.

Upgrade in UK is unlikely due to rights on the 4k version I’m afraid. Always been 4k in US never here in UK so upgrade unlikely as I’ve owned 4k version for over a year now.

Incorrect, no idea where you’re getting your information from. The last time it was £3.99 was 13th February 2017. It turned this price today. Courtesy of CheapCharts.

Really? I could have sworn it was £7.99 for both recently. Ah well my mistake.

The double pack has hovered around the £8 a couple of times the last few months, so yeah it’s possible that was what you were thinking.

So in comparison this would be a better deal then I guess, being this is a purchase and not a rental.
Thanks
