Action Maestro John Woo ('Face/Off'/ 'Paycheck') directs 3 classic Hong Kong action films:-

'The Killer' - Jeff (Chow Yun Fat) a.k.a. Mickey Mouse, an unusually sympathetic assassin, takes on one last job, hoping to make enough money to retire and fund a sight-restoring operation for his girlfriend, Jenny (Sally Yeh), a beautiful lounge singer he accidentally blinded during a previous hit.

Betrayed by his mob employers and seeking revenge, Jeff reluctantly teams up with the cop assigned to bringing him in, Inspector Li (Danny Lee) a.k.a. Dumbo, who discovers he has a grudging respect for and empathy with the killer. Together, this unlikely pair confronts the ruthless gang of Triad mobsters in a series of bloody showdowns leading to a mind-blowing finale.

'Once a Thief' - Chow Yun-fat, Leslie Cheung and Cherie Chung star as Joe, Jim and Cherie, three street orphans who, as children, were adopted by Hong Kong underworld kingpin Chow (Kenneth Tsang). Taught to survive by stealing, they are, however, given some moral guidance by a kindly cop who assumes the role of surrogate father after catching them in an act of petty larceny.

By the time they have reached adulthood the three friends have established themselves as a team of renowned art thieves, stealing paintings to order...

'Bullet in the Head' - When three longtime friends, Ben (Tony Leung), Frank (Jacky Cheung) and Paul (Waise Lee), become involved in the death of a rival gang member, they are forced to leave Hong Kong in order to escape the police. Their only ticket out is a free ride to Saigon working as smugglers on the black market. But it is the late 1960s and, with Saigon embroiled in the madness of the Vietnamese war, it's very much a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time...

When their plans to double-cross a local gangster and steal a box of gold from him go awry, the men find themselves captured by the Viet Cong and accused of working for the CIA. Incarcerated in a prisoner of war camp, their loyalties are tested to the very limits when one of the trio sets about betraying his closest friends.
