It's often this price but it's a great deal, if you're a bit snobby about blends it's well worth giving a go. No grain whisky, just a perfect blend of four 15 year old malts.

It is just those four (Talisker, Linkwood, Caol Ila and Cragganmore - all great malts in their own right) or are there others as well?

Can't find anything definitive on the web
I once had a bartender pour me shots from each type of Johnnie Walker so I could try and tell the difference. I can't remember the results.
One of my favourites. Alway buy it when it drops to this or slightly less.
This is one of the best blends available, and hot at £30 or less.
One of the best value whiskys at this price. I actually just polished off my bottle last night so it must be a sign! very nice and easy drinking, lots of depth of flavour too.
Can't seem to get it now. Cheapest I can see is £42

Morrisons seems to be the same price.

Out of stock online... Might take a trip to the local later.

how does this compare to the black label?

not tried green yet, but black is very harsh, heard from a lot of folk that green is one of the best of the bunch, even though its a lot cheaper than gold, platinum and blue.

i work where theyre all bottled, and thats the opinion of the older seasoned whisky drinkers lol

It seems more expensive than the black label so I assume it must be better. I buy whisky as presents so I don't have any knowledge.

The black label I have to someone last Christmas and they loved it.

Is this worth £8.50 more than Monkey Shoulder which is £21.50 just now?
Tastes almost like the blue I think, but more of a hangover the next day. At 1/6 the the price, well well worth it. Unsurprisingly, it’s now sold out. Not so great.

Smoother. Black is more smoke and whilst Green has a touch of it, it's much more fruity and complex. This is a brilliant bottling for the price, even at £40.
