Keen price for Johnnie Walker Blue.

Not to everyone's taste (not for the fans of really peaty, smokey ashtray whisky like Ardberg), but a super smooth, easy drink.

If you're making mixed drinks, the red is defo what you want. The black is OK, double black I find too smoky. The green 15 year aged is superb, well balanced and smoky (sometimes available for 30 notes) and my go to. The blue is VERY easy to drink, it's really well balanced and supremely smooth.

I just bought a liter at heathrow, which was a bit more expensive than the deal price.

The assistant kept trying to upsell me to the port Ellen ghost and rare (320 a liter and a seriously nice whisky) some duty free exclusive 55% one (350 a liter and tasted like fire, needed dilution) and Chivas 25 year (ruinously expensive). All of which he decanted out as eyeballed double measures for me to try.

Will be cheaper in a few weeks. It was £99 last black Friday.

That's a coincidence! I've just been watching Power on Netflix... Ghost asked some wife what drink she wanted and ended up being this!
Didn't realise it was so pricey!

Possibly, or maybe costco will have it on special for 105 at some point again. Either way, it's the cheapest price available at present and a good 15 quid less than the last few weeks.
Wait until Black Friday when Amazon usually do it for £99,would never buy it at this price, voted cold 🥶

If you can afford to splurge £100 on a bottle of whisky then you can find about a thousand better single malts and other blends out there that are significantly better than Johnnie Walker Blue. You are paying about £50 for the whisky and at the very least £50 fo the label.

not worth it at all imo.
Green label is the best value for your money from Johnny Walker.
black label is next.
I'd avoid double black, red (unless you want to mix it in which case red the the best option) ,platinum..
either buy green label or if money is tight black.

The Aldi purple one is good enough for me and I'm partial to their bourbon too, gulp! :O

Agreed. Green Label when it is at £30 (as it often is on Amazon or in Tesco or Morrisons) is very good indeed. Can't knock Black Label at £20 for mid-week supping or mixing though. Yet to try the Blue but I think I would spend £100 on something else.
Looks expensive, but then £8.30 for a double compared to a lot of bars these days isn't that much more than they're charging for bog standard whisky. I guess it just feels cheaper when you're buying it in smaller quantities!
