Tasting notes(from Johnnie Walker):-
The unique flavour profile of Johnnie Walker Green Label is a result of the careful balancing of four key signature styles, represented by Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila. Talisker from the Isle of Skye, with its wood smoke, pepper, oak and rich fruits, gives the blend power and depth of character. Linkwood, a distinctive Speyside malt, adds the finesse with its light garden fruits and flowers and cedar wood notes. Cragganmore, a sweet and fragrant Speyside malt, gives the blend an exceptional malty heart and hints of sweet wood smoke and sandalwood. Finally, Caol Ila - the Isle of Islay's best kept secret - is a very special malt which brings an element of maritime mystery through its notes of rich fruit, drying sea salt and peat smoke, each adding to the natural intensity of Johnnie Walker Green Label.

Nice one
This or Sainsburys JD?
I don't think you can compare the two really. For me the Green Label is streets ahead of JD, but to each his own.
Gutted, no Morrison's nearby.

Heat for the price, haven't seen this below £40 since it came back.
Have some heat
I'm hoping Amazon drop their price to match this as there are no Morrison's near me.
Definitely hot but wonder if I dropped a clanger cos when I got there they had gold reserve at the same price.
Now, years ago when gold was 18yrs and green hadn't been discontinued, I preferred both over the blue but the gold had the edge. I'm just hoping that the gold reserve isn't as good as the 18, or I've blown my 30 quid on the wrong bottle.

I found the gold reserve to be dire, never tried the 18 to compare it to though.

JW Green is far better than gold which is way overpriced so the right decision.
Never seen this in stock in my couple of local Morrisons (and that was unchanged today). If anyone spots it around Glasgow I'd be interested...

Well that's made my evening, cheers! Enjoying it right now.
The 18yr Gold was good as is the Green and Blue, still honestly trying to find a difference between my old (expensive) Green and the new one but if I could get this for £30 I'd be happy.

On price agin the Blue its a no brainer.

And if you want the Discontinued Gold 18 then ask pals heading abroad (even the Canaries) as its still out there on shelves for €50.

Well, that's worth knowing. I thought it was absolutely delicious.

The Green Label is my favourite JW. To me it's in a different league to the others. The likes of Ralfy, Serge and Horst Luening agree, so I can't be wrong :-)
Good find
Amazon reduced this to £36.75 a few days ago, which seems to be their lowest, but still too far off the £30 deal, sadly. Out of stock there too.
