Don't do it. Paint thinner. Black Label is where the JW range should start.
For £15 you can buy a bottle of Teachers Highland cream. That is peaty lovelyness compared to this. The Red label is Vile.

The black however is lovely. You are paying a few quid more for a whisky that is in a total league above this nasty stuff

I mostly agree . Red is better than some big labels like bells or Jack Daniels ,but I would much rather spend the extra for black which is (imo) the nicest affordable whisky around and nice to drink neat
I would pick up a Queen Margot 8yo from Lidl for £12.49 over JW red.

I think it was the 3yo that he reviewed though if i'm not mistaken?

I can’t remember. Have to say I think the 3 is too spirity, picked out easily in a blind test and I’m using for mixers. The 8 in blind test does very very well.
I've not tried 3. Only 77 on WhiskyBase so thought I'd give it a pass. I do like the 8 though. Very solid whisky for the money. Also really liked the age statement glen alba range they did a few years ago. Still got a few bottles hidden away

So that's why I can't find any in Torremolinos is it! I've been trying to track her down all week and not a sighting yet! Last year I was snapping it up at around 7 euros a litre bottle and loving it. Still, can't blame you it's very drinkable even at the U.K. price.
