Johnny Walker Black Label Whisky only £16.78 at Costco as from today.
Nearest cheapest £26.97 at ASDA. and yes I appreciate not everyone has a Costco card, its in conjunction with booklet voucher offer ( which they normally have at entrance) but in my experience they just take it off at till regardless - worth a sneaky bottle or two !!!
The finest single Whiskies have been matured for 12 full years before being carefully blended to produce the unique character and smooth taste of Johnnie Walker Black Label.

Bargain. To be fair Costco always have excellent prices on Whiskey and most spirits. The average price of a decent malt in the supermarkets is £25-30, in Costco its £17-20 for the same brands (Glenlivet, Glenmorangie, Macallan etc).

Also, if I remember correctly the price on Johnnie Walker Gold is very good compared to Tesco.

Is this the 70cl or 1ltr?

its for 70cl ie a standard bottle - would be superhot if 1litre but still not a bad price if you happen to like the same....

Heat for me, my preferred tipple.

How do you shop in Costco without a membership?

Hmmmm £30 for membership :-/ Not sure there are regular enough deals to justify that, shame as I'd have liked a couple of bottles at that price.

Maybe not regular enough deals posted on here but I can assure you that any day of the week the ongoing instore deals make the yearly membership worth every penny.

Remember - Drink responsibly or don't drink at all

Still boycotting Diagio products, greedy ***s

Agreed, even on just food/groceries alone, you can easily get your money back in one shopping session

Because I'm a drinks nerd and I don't have anything better to do with my life, I must pedantically point out that Scotch whisky doesn't have the 'e' in it. It's 'whisky'. If it was Irish or American, then it would be 'whiskey'.

Yes, I am that sad.

True on both counts

PS does this need the VAT adding to its price

'Whiskey' price includes VAT

Seriously good blended whisky especially at this price. I think
I prefer this to more pricey single malts like Aberlour, Glenmorangie.. Can't decide if
I prefer Glenfiddich, Glenlivet or old Pultney. Apparently this has lot of Talisker and Coal Ila which I guess I should try... Anyhow, very nice, I'm drinking it now just a splash of water
