What's going on with these recently? They have shanged the sticks from the long time blue ones to cheap and nasty thin white ones that bend. I've looked in all poundshops and b&m etc and all new stock with white sticks. They are awful.
they are the new environmentally friendly ones you don't want to see a sea horse with one in the future.

The ones I've got are still blue!

Contraband! How much you want for them? Just can't get deep enough into my ears with the white sticked ones. The blue ones made my eyes roll into the back of my head but the white ones just bend.

I completely agree. It was never worth buying anything else other than Johnson's but these newer ones are not a patch on the older ones. Here's hoping these are the old blue ones or Johnson's have changed the design back

Johnsons brand?

Johnson's Brand 2x200 for £1.20 seen on the shelf today!
Is it bad that I'm actually typing "amazon" I the hukd search thing just to find something to buy to take my basket up to £20 for the addon cotton buds. This is what hukd has reduced me to.
Awful cotton buds like mentioned above, they just bend, don't bother buying these anymore unless I can find old stock, but great price, pity we can't be guaranteed the ones with blue stick
These are new cardboard stems, bend very easily not a patch on the old blue plastic ones.

Blame the idiots that used to flush them down the toilets.
Good deal but I no longer buy cotton buds because of this:32713747-T8OO7.jpg

Hopefully it means they are biodegradable after finding out they kill sea animals.
These are really bad for your ears actually you're not supposed to push anything in there.

I've always hated the plastic content of these and only buy the paper versions. In the old days they were made of paper anyway, people get used to plastic so easily.
And don't get me started on the environmental costs of disposable nappies, fatbergs, and micro plastics in toothpaste and cosmetics.
And don't Johnson's still do animal experiments, baby shampoo in rabbit eyes etc?

Johnstons have changed from plastic to paper to help combat this. I do agree though, but it's how people dispose of them which is the main problem (grrrr)
