Great price and reviews,heat added.
Boom tried to get this at Homebase and saw it a few weeks ago in argos but no stock. Managed to nap two in exeter stores so ideal for the new house
please don't
Discount code doesn't work with paint. It says Oh dear, your order is not eligible for this deal.
We bought this just a while back. It was shockingly bad. oO
As lizbubbles, got given 2 x 10 ltr tubs of this to paint my sisters house; after FIVE coats and still showing patchy, I gave up and went for something decent; it is so thin, even a fingerprint shows through it.

Their trade paint is supposed to be great, but this is just ****.
Ive seen the 5 Ltr one in Asda for £7
Dulux magnolia matt 6L is currently in B&M for £16.99. I went with that as a safe option as I'd read bad reviews of Johnson and also Crown paints
try leyland contract, £15 per 10l @screwfix, much better paint.Dulux is usually good but a bit more expensive.

I wont TOUCH Crown paints, I have had so many issues with poor paint quality with their gloss paints.

If you want a decent cheap paint, keep an eye on Lidl/Aldi, ditto for wood stains and varnish.

If you need a pro paint, due to damp, mould, smoke damage etc, buy Zinsser.

Got to say Zinsser is top stuff ... We used it in the bathroom and the Decorater claimed it was the best stuff he ever used

I came across Zinsser with a ceiling where every paint and sealant I tried peeled off. I tried their "Whole House Primer" (no longer sold) and the results were fantastic. One coat is all it took, and it is still brilliant white nearly 18 years later; I was so impressed I did every ceiling in the house AND the bathroom walls - with one 5ltr tin.

One word of warning, their oil based paints dont work well with paint pads, even though the leaflets say they do. The water based ones are fine though, and they are all anti-fungal.
