Great to hear, mine arrives on Wednesday!
we have one and it is fab.
Thank you for posting and welcome to HUKD @MinnieWood
Not sure why this is cold as it's a decent price and with £30 in Boots points
I have one and voted hot but all car seats are way overpriced. Rrp of £250 is ridiculous.

Thank you @andywedge - car seats are overpriced so not surprised people vote cold but if someone wants this particular one (as I did) hopefully they’ll come across this post and it’ll help them which is all that matters

We have one. We love ours, but we hate that you can't remove the straps to clean them in the event of a child being sick in the seat. You can't get into the gaps to clean it. Also, we found, that because you can only adjust the height of the straps, by adjusting the height of the headrest, in some cases (as we discovered with our own baby) in adjusting the straps to the right height to sit safely on the shoulders, then renders the headrest unsafe as it becomes to heigh to protect the head. We had to use a normal stage 1 car seat for about a month until our baby was tall enough to go back into the Joie. Other than that, fab car seat.

@Mumtotmz none of the car seats we’ve ever used have had removable straps. I’ll watch out for the height adjustment, thanks

I've never had a car seat where I haven't been able to remove the straps. I naively assumed this would be a standard thing to be able to do, simply in order to be able to clean up mess, and to adjust them. Same as highchair straps. But it is a brilliant car seat, and makes life alot easier.

Car seat straps aren’t usually completely removable because that creates the risk that they will be put back into the seat incorrectly.

My Joie Stages seat is the same - sometimes the headrest can look a little too high when you have adjusted it to make the straps sit correctly (at or just below their shoulders for a rear facing child, at or just above for a forward facing child). The priority is getting the harness correct, you just have to trust that Joie have designed the headrest to be where it is and that it doesn’t need to be right down at your child’s shoulders cocooning their whole head.

Yes did the same, we had an offer for extra points so also got over 5000 points without spending £240. Thanks OP! Just what we needed!
For some reason I can’t vote on this!
